On tablet and each time I scroll the page, the header disappears then re-appears then re-sizes. This happens every time. Anyone know how to disable this?
The "new member" glitch will be sorted out in the small hours tonight hopefully. By the way the rep function has been merged with likes, so that each time you have been given rep in the past it counts as an extra like. There is a scale of trophy points for the amount of likes you get. Groovy.
I am not too keen on this new version! Perhaps it doesn't work well on my BlackBerry, but everything jumps around for ages when logging in or changing thread, and where's my avatar gone? Not too happy!
Seems a little slow loading pages this morning. Was fine yesterday. Being an IT guru, I have decided that it is because it's bloody cold this morning; I might be a little sluggish this morning too!
I have to say, and this is just my opinion but perhaps other people are experiencing the same, but the new forum is terrible. The layout and grey text arrest my vision, the site has become unstable and keeps crashing (in Firefox), pages are taking forever to load too. What was wrong with the way it was before?
In general it's fine for me. I like the "back to the top" button and the navigation links at the bottom of the page. But I'm not so keen on the animated title banner that moves left as you scroll down... in general, animations on websites = not good.
Morning guys and guyettes.......we need to give the owner a little lee way. He is trying to over come the queries and changes he needs to make. Gradually over the next few days......although weeks in some cases I believe. Some of the teething problems his new set up has thrown up were expected I think, although not quite so many.
