Erm......is it really staying like this, because it looks horrible, clunky and ghastly as ****.
Doubt I will be using it for very long if its stays like this. eeeeewwwww

Nah don't think I will be able to bud.
The top of the page makes me dizzy, the buttons are so faded against the background you can easily miss them.
Everythings ****ing grey, looks diabolically ****.

Will give it a couple of days but unless my brain can adjust or it changes, I wont be able to stay on here very much if at all.

And whats with the ****ing red arrow in the bottom right of my screen, I wish it would **** off, its irritating as ****

Might as well get a few more posts in before I get re-banned :D

Yeah it's pretty horrible, bit like going from Office 2003 to Office 2010. Gone is all the shading that gave it a 3d sort of appearance, now it's a flat blandfest.
Seems to have a bit more functionality though and if the forum stops crashing when it gets busy, it will probably be worth it.

I don't know, I think its a great idea using this refit as an amnesty if those who have offended in the past wish to re offend then its simples but I think giving the choice is a good thing.:bandit:

In the spirit of new starts, I fully agree <ok>
 
The last software was very broken - big security vulnerabilities which pushed my hand in moving faster than I would like to. I'm going to be working on the design to try remove some of the grey over the next few weeks, in mean time you may want to get a better background image <whistle> I'll delete the current one as it just looks a bit silly. If you want to know why we had to move please read this https://www.avforums.com/threads/vb...net-brands-have-killed-off-vbulletin.1855705/ - once you get used to this software you'll notice it has much better functionality, I just need to work a bit on the design.

I like the notifications thing, pretty handy. ALready getting used to it.

I guess some old fogies don't like change :D
 
if the positioning of the avatars is sorted, the text font changed, some colour added, and that ****ing red arrow at the bottom right removed (I have a mouse wheel thanks) then I may be able to live with it
 
and that bar at the top thats say "forum - Members" that stays at the top when you scroll down.....if thats removed....
 
All about making the site more friendly for ****ty mobile devices and as is the norm, linking it to facebook/twitter and whatever.
 
It is ugly to read and pulls your eye around without rhyme or reason, so meets current aesthetic standards - well done.
