To be fair your players are soft as **** if they were really hurt after every foul once taking the lead. 6 minute injury time and not one forced change through injury. Like I said earlier in the thread, needless as we wouldn't have scored if we played till next week. Bad sportsmen. You lose my sympathy over Cahill.
And you saw that coming, Tuckin? I've backed Ramirez, I've been puzzled by team selections; today, however great and unexpected (for me and many others) was no exception. It seemed to be more of a needs must than a brilliant strategy. I hope I am wrong as wins rule the roost in football, so look forwarding Sunday.
My mate should have been done with GBH of the back of the stand with his walking stick today, he was banging it like a drum and it was really keeping some songs going on for a lot longer than usual, the fans support today was outstanding, I really think it lifts the players
**** off you bitter ****. All that she you said about Steve Bruce... What's that, 4 wins out of 4 against you lot since you stupidly sacked him?
I certainly didn't see it coming. There's a way to make a point on a board, though, and the posts i quoted above stood out as falling furthest short of that standard. Canada's surprised me particularly. Edmund put it well further up: "I was puzzled at first with the team selection and it was right to ask questions in places."
No, you're not being fair. You gave as good as you got, you were beat 3-1 at home and a ramshackle team of Bruce second-stringers did it at a canter. We neither miss or want your sympathy over Cahill. We did well because you didn't, you were really poor and miracles are in short order.
I'm surprised you were ever sympathetic over Cahill's obvious & unsuccessful attempt to cheat against us. You may have been a little pissed off that he's getting nearly as good at it as Adam Johnson is. Bitter tarts
Didn't I read yesterday, from a Sunderland fan, that we would win today because the Referee had proven in the past that he was anti-Sunderland and decisions would go our way? We were very lucky to get away with (what was obvious in the replays) two penalty decisions which weren't given, BUT, as I have said in the past, we were well overdue for some 'run-of-the-ball' as we have had very little recently. I knew when they brought Altidore on that we were home, Bruce had him covered but when he did manage to get the ball his distribution was r@tsh!t. I thought we started to look like a team at last but Sunlun didn't appear to have much if I'm to be honest. Let's hope we can carry this through to Sunday.
Was too annoyed to drop back and post yesterday, no slur on your lads, absolutely on ours. We were gifted a flyer and thought we could just canter through game, yeah should have been a pen but so ****, that's no excuse. Second half you were hungrier, and frankly we need to be better we never looked like getting back in at 1-2. You deserved it and all the best going forward. Was a chance for us to be on the shoulder of the top 10 and the lads played like u18's, no direction, no ideas. Bollocks.
Another Bump of my personal faves from yesterday. Well done lads. Apart from you Thudds, you can just **** off. The fact you have been allowed to return after being banned is ridiculous anyway.
Does it bother you that the new site has you down as a 'well-known member' Hattie? It seems a bit harsh to me.
