Agreed Cortez, we didn't take as many as some but by **** we made some noise - the acoustics in the top of that stand is brilliant. Was nice to see a load of mature chaps giving us a few verses of ''knock-kneed chicken'' and ''eyes right'' ........... as a club we don't have many great away days in the PL but today was certainly one of them.
The 3 divisions of the Football League also had their highest attendances for over 50 years.As did the FACup. Yet there were almost weekly statements on RH from the guests and Gwillam and the other clowns who present about people deserting football and the Cup losing its magic.
I was two rows back from the top. We stood and sang throughout. It's good the stewards left us to support how we wanted.
City fans were terrific yesterday. Sunderland should be proud of their attendances, as i'm sure we would if we could get 44K+
