Dalla Valle and Kermin Frei are expected to be in the line up. However Jol says that it is better for youngsters to go on loan and "hopefully I can get 2 or 3 into Holland".
Well I'm sure Big Maarty knows best. Maybe a few of our english youngsters can shine in Holland, which would be good for their development.
I hope he plays Etheridge in goal on Thursday night. Did anyone else notice Schwarzer did not take one goal kick in the first leg??
Skysports.com understands Fulham youngster Richard Peniket is attracting the interest of a number of clubs. Premier League rivals Wolves, Championship club Birmingham and Scottish champions Rangers are all thought to be monitoring the 19-year-old's situation at Craven Cottage. The 6ft 3in striker is highly regarded at Fulham after they beat Manchester United to his signature in 2009 when they signed Peniket from Walsall. Peniket has caught the eye for Wales Under-19s and he also played an instrumental role in helping Fulham win the Southern academy title last season. Fulham are keen to keep hold of Peniket, but they could face a fight for him if any of the interested trio firm up their interest in talented frontman. .
Does anyone remember Mark Walton's goalkicking? I seem to recall Maik Taylor getting a huge roar when his first Fulham goal kick went straight and true down the middle - it had been so long since we'd seen anything like that!
No, no, no WDWW - my reference to Tosh was just a little "in" joke. And sorry Tosh if it was read the wrong way - my 'own goal'. Anyway it's probably only me that has ever commented on Schwartzer's poor goal kicking.
Haven't found any TV feed for the NSI game tomorrow yet. Wonder if Gentleman Jim will be doing a broadcast, nothing on the offical yet. Bit naughty of Crusaders, they already have a Crusaders/Fulham scarf limited edition advertised on their website for £10. Interesting to hear how they have upgraded their ground for SkyTV showing Northern Irish League games, so it looks like our game there might get broadcast, (if we get past NSI).
That is a bit naughty I agree I reckon we will get a live stream somehow There is bound to be coverage of some kind
No It's just me - I had a crabby day recently and called Cotts for be negative - whadye mean Pot, Kettle, Darkish Grey ??
Who is this Darkish Gray feller - is he another new goalkeeper? Any relation to Roy Race's mate Blackie Gray? (showing my age, I fear)
Found a radio feed for tomorrow just in case Gentleman Jim isn't there http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/8273145.stm BBC London Kick Off 18.45 tomorrow
I was hoping the free telly might be on again. Alright it was a bit crap for 20 mins but good after that, even on a dongle (ooo err - get her!)
I'm hoping thats on too - good quality even on full screen mode It was a different angle though - like being sat in the hammersmith end My 6 year old son was getting confused in the second half when it kept switching from Hammersmith to Riverside angles
Nice work, WDWW. If there's no video feed on the official site, we've got something at least. Thanks.
Your right it is something, but personally I don't think you can beat Gentleman Jim on the live audio If you looked at the word Fulhamish if it were in a dictionary, his name would be there, what a legend.
I have read elsewhere that the game is likely to be covered by FI TV so there will be live feed on the website. Hopefully that will be confirmed during the course of the day. Although we have zillions of channels on Sky the Faroe Islands Channel isn't one of them (although it would probably be a lot better than some of the rubbish we do have)
I'm working earlies today, so hopefully I can watch the boys in action tonight - praying for a live stream!
