Well that was the challenge, I didnt set it myself.

I got 2 litre bottles of Baileys for Christmas as it happens, both original flavour, naturally. I might take up the challenge some time between now and NYE.

I have been considering a cafe venture, it is well on the back burner now. My idea was a Belgium Beer, Moules and Frittes cafe bar, either brown cafe style or industrial. I was reminded yesterday by the drinks that I was given and looked to see if there was any place local that did Belgium beers on a reasonable scale. I never knew that this place existed. I will be stocking up tomorrow!

This changes everything. I thought you'd strawpedo'd the lot down, when in fact you slowly sipped them like a gayer.

Perhaps still an impressive calorific feat, I grant you that, but this is a thread for seasoned boozehounds.

Save the calorie talk for mumsnet.

clearing out a cupboard and i found an unopened bottle of single malt LochNagar - straight from Prince Charles's own distillery still in its box
Bought 2 bottles in 2007 , i'd always assumed the box contained an empty bottle till i picked it up :D

Someone in your family gave you bottles of Baileys knowing full well you might not be able to resist the obviously natural temptation to drain them?

I've got the mother in law arriving any minute. I am going to get smashed this afternoon just to get through it, cream based drinks will not be on the agenda. Not with my thighs.....

I know she's on her way the mice have started throwing themselves on the traps.

All this talk of booze only reminds me of how old I'm getting as I can't be doing with the head down the bog thing in the morning, moderation is the name of the game these days for me.
