How great would it be if we wacked them and Brucie got the sack?

If we're winning the 'Cheer up Steve Bruce' and 'You're getting sacked in the morning' will be class.

Could even throw in a "Bruce out" chant in for old times sake.

Just read on the Hull board that some guy wants Meyler to do a job on Catts and get him sent off again. For this and so many other reasons let's hammer these muppets.

Its a hoot listening to them whinging on about Chelsea ducking and diving, talk about kettles. To be fair tho' we played right into their hands last year, and Catts bless him, is the easiest target in football, if only he learned to stay calm, but the first minute of the derby suggests he hasn't quite got there yet, and for that reason alone, I would prefer a wiser head in their against this lot, if we play football we will win.

Just as thing lads, theres no point having catts in your team...

    Marriner is ref...

Following on from when we played Arsenal...

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/...sted-lee-cattermole-because-of-andre-marriner

Sunderland boss Gus Poyet has confirmed he left Lee Cattermole out of his squad to face Arsenal because Andre Marriner was refereeing the game.

Poyet did not want to lose Cattermole ahead of this weekend's Capital One Cup final as he feared he could end up being sent off.

Cattermole was controversially red-carded at Hull City by Marriner earlier this season, and Poyet did not want to risk the former Middlesbrough midfielder.

"Unfortunately for me, it (Cattermole) was the only decision I could control," Poyet revealed.

"I don't want to say something to get me fined but for me the referee was one who normally sends Lee Cattermole off.

"I don't want to say something to get me fined but for me the referee was one who normally sends Lee Cattermole off."

Gus Poyet: "Add that to the fact we were away to Arsenal. I am sure if we were to go two or three goals down, Lee is not the sort of player to have in the middle. I made a mistake in the press conference - if there is one player starting next week, it is Lee Cattermole. The rest at the moment are substitutes."

Poyet admits Sunderland's 4-1 loss to Arsenal has not aided his selection for their trip to Wembley this weekend.

"Everything I had in mind for next week is gone in 90 minutes.

"Gone. Completely. We will have to start from zero," said Poyet.

"Sometimes players pick themselves. If we had gone to Arsenal and won the game, how could you change the team next week at Wembley?

    "They would deserve to play.

"Now I have a lot of options, because maybe there are a few players who have been pushing for a place in the starting XI and now they are going to be there.

"I said in another interview that no-one put themselves in the team for next week - no-one.

"But I suppose that is not quite right. The goalkeeper didn't have any responsibility for the goals, and that's true.

"Jack Colback ran and tackled and fought, and that's true. Giaccherini tried his best and scored, and that's true too.

"But we are a team. We are not tennis players who play on our own. I need to make a team.

"Whatever team I pick next week they will have to be happy with, because they have had a great chance to put themselves forward and they didn't."

I'be happy with this, although I'd prefer Jones RB at least then only Santi is out of position, he's got a bit of touch on him as well so could cut inside a bit.

Thought Coates really grew into the derby after a shaky start and was outstanding, so I agree give Wes a breather, JOS has gone from one I worried about to 3rd name on the team sheet after Catts & Seb, fair play to him he's been fantastic all season, Seb's similar.

Bang up for this game, and hoping we get to see little Giaccy, even if it's just for the last 15! Hawaaaaaaay!

This is the team for me, hope we play them off the pitch, and deny Marriner the limelight for once.
