Heard this one this morning and is often overlooked compared to the usual fare that's played during Christmas feel free to add more of your favs or hated Xmas songs
Shane and Kirsty for me closely followed by John and Yoko, but they are all so much part of the ritual now I like them all. I am tempted to get the Dylan Xmas offering, has anyone any comment as I am not sure, it could be a grower maybe, or maybe not.
I hate them all with the exception of one or two. Don't mind Christmas carols at all, but if I hear Slade, or Wizzard or somebody like that on, I switch the radio over immediately. What a miserable sod I am.
Xmas Carols cover a huge range of tastes, and some are about as cheerful as a bad dose of piles, whereas the old Xmas jingles are on the whole (Im full of them to-day ) uplifting even if some are a bit naf.

some gospel blues with Blind Boys of Alabama & Taj Mahal
Thats just where Ive been after your original post, spending Xmas with the blues, it was on the Johnny Walkers sunday night programmes that I first heard Taj doing the classics and he puts a good slant on it. You can never be certain who influences who in this field, but its a great traditional music handed down over generations, a bit like Xmas really, anyway all the best mate.
Cliff Richard Mistletoe n Wine. He should have John Holmes countersink he's ****e for that heap of crap.
