It's a thread about 'your team of the season', I don't see how debating an inclusion of someone's team of the season is derailing the thread?
As I said it's been done to death and there's nothing new. We get it, UIR rates Carrick over Fabregas, you disagree. Million reasons given both ways. I don't usually get bothered by your bickering, but we have 3 different fans of other teams (not United or Chlesea) come on and make some good points, and 3 Chelsea fans reappear and turn their (and UIR's) comments back towards Fabregas. Anyway, it's nothing personal against you and carrying on with this is just continuing with the same trite so I'll leave it there.
Takr matic out and fabregas is about as useful as a chocolate fireguard. Its a gerrard alonso situation. Luckily the right man gets his fair share of praise. Matic is the best midfielder in the league.
Let them carry on. Tge stats for defensive midfielders sypport his inclusion. Cesc an attacking midfielder. Its where hes best. He plays where he does simply because the alternative is obi mikel. Its better to have cesc there amd oscar forward than mikel anywhere near tge side. Matic almost carries cesc defensively. Because he literally offers nothing in that role. Matic is that good he allows cecs to shy away from that side of the game and concentratr on attack.
Hes absolute class. Hes to you what carrick has been to us for years. Matic gets the praise though as people now appreciate that kind of player.
Believe me I appreciate what Carrick does, it's just Fabregas has been sublime this season so far and I don't get how you can't give him credit. He and Matic are both vital, perfect balance in the centre of the park - a bit Scholes/Keane esq! Like you said it's just a shame the only alternative is Mikel.

Crouch had more goals and assists than Oscar last season. You can't argue with stats. Oscar is a very average player, no question about that
I don't really care how good/bad you think Oscar is, it's the fact you compared him with Crouch that shows how stupid you are.
