Agent: 'Manchester United close to signing Kevin Strootman' http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footbal...united-close-to-signing-strootman_195272.html More kack or real?
I would rather have Nani back...and I don't particularly want him back either but fck wasting £90m like that! I'm really hoping this is bollox. It's not needed, is never going to happen and will be a waste of time and energy on our part.
Yeh dont want bale. Dave loves him though. I dont rate him too much. Good player but worth 30million at best. Rather buy 2 cb and a midfielder for 90-120million.
Di maria (who was better than bale at madrid anyway) gives us that. Anyway, marco reus is that man. Garay Reus Falcao (or other striker) A right back Quadruple
The only scenario in which it makes sense for us to pay that much for Bale is if we know Real are using the cash to buy Aguero. Ensuring City lose Aguero would be worth £90m to us alone as it would probably dramatically reduce their threat as title rivals for the next few years.
This. City losing Aguero would be like Liverpool losing Suarez - irreplaceable for them. Unless they get Ronaldo or Messi, then the overall quality of their team would drop and they wouldn't be able to replace him. Imo the best outcome would be if City used their £90m to buy someone like Neymar, and took a gamble on him succeeding in the PL. He could well turn out to be the next Robinho or Balotelli, and could set City back years.
Swarb I agree about Neymar, I believe there's a lot of hype around him. But I wouldn't be surprised if he comes to somewhere like City and absolutely storms it.
