Watching motd2 apparently our only chance before the goal was Johnsons miss. So forgetting the 2 Wickham headers, the fletcher crossbar, the Wickham post, the Gomez miss. We only created after Tiote went off!

Also, they think that Sussokho should've taken a "technical foul" but cattermoles "technical foul" was Cattermole being Cattermole. Total biased reporting

    Stupid not to really.

Basic stuff, Cattermole done it effectively, it's part of his job, he's the guy who takes them yellows for the team. Sissoko didn't go in committed enough, he fluffed it.

I was going to comment on that Marcus, Neville on MotD2 last night nearly spoilt my beer <cheers> it seems that we don't have a right to beat Newcastle and when we do there is nothing positive to say about us.

He may be an ex pro but he must have seen a different game to me, our finishing let us down, but barring 15 minutes at the start and 15-20 minutes second half we bossed the game and had more chances to win it <ok>

The point Marcus is making Terry is that they slagged Cattermole for doing something they said Sissoko should have done.

Yeah, they usually take that opportunity, it's like they get paid for how many 'Cattermole is a thug' 'Ramsay is untouchable' or 'Martinez is a great manager' references they can come up with.

haha yeah he is isn't he!! Found out?

Cattermole is simply not scared in any way of taking a booking. Teams need a player like that.

I rate him mate, he's good enough to manage in this division but them pack of nuggets make out as if he'd teach Fergie a thing or two.

The levels of analysis shown on MOTD compared to what Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher come up with for Sky is pathetic.

Cattermole will take bookings all season for stuff like that, which only puts fuel on the fire for people who think he's a thug. I used to be one, but the lad has changed his game and deserves credit for that. Now if a fan from another club can see that, how comes the 'experts' miss it?

Because they simply don't watch as much football as they should be. If I was a pundit I'd make the points of watching EVERY premier league game before the following weekends fixtures. But they don't. Take the Colback thing. Because Newcastle think he's the best thing since sliced bread, the pundits have taken to the band wagon. I've seen him play 9 times this season and he was better for us last season by a country mile. It's just because the Mags have only had Kebab in the last 10 years who can actually pass a ball in midfield so they're overwhelmed by how tidy he is. His defending is pretty much what it was with us but he had developed an attacking intent towards the end of his Sunderland career but those qualities Gus had him developing just hasn't showed up for the mags this season.

The beeb are awful mate, I rarely watch motd as it is, the extended highlights on sky on the red button are perfect for me, I can then ffwd the motd crap the next morning when I wanna watch the rest of the goals.

Gary Lineker as well, the guy has to be up there with the most patronising of ex-footballers. His holier than thou attitude pisses me off, and all of his jokes are about his ears or other pundits receding hairlines.

I detest football media and punditry and commentary. I listen to music when I watch matches because I can't stand to hear them waffle on **** and contradicting themselves constantly. I refuse to believe Andy Townsend has ever sat and listened though 90 minutes of one of his own matches purely because he hasn't shot his own face off.
