Seems that Britain's brainiest footballer and TV pundit has lost control of his crippling depression and attempted suicide by lorry. Not nice for the driver or Carlisle's family just before Christmas. What is it about the festive period that makes people want to commit suicide?.
I don't know why reports don't just tell the truth he was walking along a motorway and jumped under a truck at 7am. No way that was an accident . He used to play Carribean stud poker in Bayswater casino when he played for QPR dealt to him loads of times, he would sip 3 or 4 single JD and cokes and lose £500 max a week . Next thing he's in the paper talking about battling a gambling habit and alcohol abuse, big drama queen I thought he was a turd burglar.
Other people's seeming happiness can increase the devasting loneliness of depression at this time of year
All this bull**** fake grief from Barton and people that don't even know the guy because he had a bad day and decided to check out. People jump under trains every week they cause delays end of.
Joking aside the pressure to organise the perfect day puts everyone on edge even if you have no problems and the extra drinking over the next few weeks will guarantee violence and fighting . Office parties and groups drinking in pubs and clubs usually have a few arseholes that kick off. The amateur boozeheads come out and **** it up for the rest of us.
Very true - and the ironic thing is that the people who everyone thinks are happy are actually praying for their spleens to burst so as to be free from the whole sorry pantomime of it .
I don't think they are - I just have an irrational and illogical dislike of them because in the last couple of years my local boozer's been transformed into a Steptoe supporters club.
