As far as I know none of the victims are related to me in any way. There has already been an arrest in Sunderland of some wee prick who posted ****e about this ont tinternet. So... Sad times indeed. Thoughts and prayers with the families. Check out ER's posts officer. You'll find him in his Aberdeen bedsit.
It's a terrible shame and, all sodding about aside, I think we should express some sympathy for the families who have lost loved ones. Did the driver survive? The BBC News site article doesn't make it clear. There are all sorts of rumours flying about. Everything from the driver being bevvied up to having a heart attack to epileptic seizure at the wheel. If he lived, imagine how he's going to feel knowing that he caused those deaths, albeit accidentally. How will he get over this? 'tis a tragedy for sure. The fact that it's happened in Glasgow is incidental. For it to happen anywhere is a crying shame. It casts a pall over the season of good cheer for everybody, no matter where. Sympathies to all the families affected by this bloody awful tragedy, including the family of the driver of the vehicle.
I was too busy grassing the ****s in here to grass that particular ****. I would have though if I had a twitter account. Some other concerned citizen stuck him in.
BBC News is saying specifically the dead are five WOMEN and one MAN. Which surprises me cos I heard three of them were weans. I hope it's accurate - only good thing would be if no weans were involved.
Ssssssake man. I have heard that the "3 from the same family" were over from Canada - the guy was a president of a CSC there and his 18 yr old granddaughter was one of them. Trying no to be mawkish about it all but it's a bit hard - city was ****ing weird yesterday and it's the same today, walking by those big metal barriers round the square with all the lights off was bizarre this morning.
Aye, Jack Sweeney ex-head of Bramalea CSC. I've been in that club a few times, can't remember if I ever met him or not - I'm doing the obligatory Facebook checks with the relevant people, and I'll let you know if we are former acquaintances or not. If I do know him, then there can be no more humour on this subject, I'm afraid. <Aldo>
If this was in London it would have Chas n Dave my old man's a dustman and road crash gifs all over the shop but because it's in Glasgow it's off limits. Sick is sick regardless of location.
