Yeah, I swear I managed to complete that game back in the day, even collect all the crystals and play the hidden stage.
Hardest emerald to find was actually greenhill zone in the rain and stormy level (act 2) where you had to judge your bounce onto a hidden spring in a cloud perfectly. ah memories
I had a megadrive back in the day but gotta say that now a days the Snes was king. I've played through alot of Snes games I never had the chance to back in the day and have even imported some that never came over here and with a line up like Zelda link to the past, FFVI, Earthbound <mother series> Mario RPG etc it truely had some of the best games i've ever played.
Had the master system and the megadrive (with alex kidd) and Phantasy Star 2 (top rpg which I recently bought for my xbox 360). Anyone remember R-Type or micro machines? Also had the 32X converter with virtua racing and virtua fighter. The mega cd sucked big fat donkey dick compared to the 32X. Started with the Atari 2600 though with paperboy, defender, etc.
I recently played a megadrive, and it sucked. I can't believe that i used to love mine. I think i'll stick with my PS3 thank you.
SNES is by far the better computer. alot of the games are still playable today! mariokart & mario are superb
Ahhh, Streets of Rage. That came in a 3 game pack along with Golden Axe, and that god-awful, but actually insanely playable Italia '90 game.
I had it on the Amiga and used to go Atletico Miniero. They were the cheat team. All there players were supposed to be ****e, but they were all rapid. please log in to view this image
I have streets of rage 2 and golden axe for my xbox 360 now. Love buying the classics from the arcade. Shinobi and double dragon were the **** too. I used to be able to beat golden axe on 1x 10p in the arcade without losing a life.I remember desert strike and jungle strike too. Anyone remember Rampage, eating people out of the windows was so cool.
Mega Drive and the best games for me were Sensible Soccer, Italia 90, California Games, Streets Of Rage, Ecco The Dolphin, FIFA 95 and of course Road Rash.
