Probably to negotiate a better deal. I still think GYan will be off next year to a top club, and if he has a great season with us, I fully understand his ambition, but Id like to see him see one more full season out with us and not leave us in the **** halfway through like Bent did.
Gyan is younger and more creative, i'd say maybe £15million and Defoe, £17million and Crouch, valuing Gyan around £25million. I'd rather keep Gyan than any of these options though.
I think this has already been said, but how on earth could you blame Bruce if Gyan is determined to leave? I hope this is just paper talk and that he is fully committed to the cause. However, if he does go at his own request, I certainly wouldn't put the blame on the manager or the club.
I think the Wickham/Dong buys have put pay to a crouch move, I hope so anyway. Cant see Gyan moving this year, he knows and Bruce/Quinn know that a good season will see his value rocket. ****ing agents mind I suppose he is doing what he is paid for, getting his client the best deal.
Sounds like his agent is fishing for either a better contract or a move away. It is unfortunately an agents job to get the best possible deal for his client. The thing that worries me is if Gyan wasn't happy with his agent. He would tell him to shut the **** up.
was talking to my brother last night the rumours are gyan is a straight swap for defoe.. must be saggy harry trying a different rout
Apparently Gyan and his agent arent talking together: But the 25-year-old is relaxed about taking on that responsibility â and is confident he can improve on last termâs tally. âIâll definitely be a better player next season,â he declared. âAs I said before I came here, it was my dream to play in the English Premier League. âI feel I have established myself now, but there is more to come. âThe fans love me, which is really important. âWhen the people are behind you, you keep going and I hope to do more. âIt depends on me keeping working hard. âThere are some seasons where things donât go well, but that doesnât mean you are a bad player.â http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spor...-to-better-his-good-safc-start-72703-28995639
Bruce will just settle him down to tell him he`ll be playing for Man U next season........well most of them anyway....!!!
I really hope Gyan is not full of ****. It's all his agent I think, but it would be such a shame to see a footballer who seemed like a genuinely nice guy for once show up to be another asshole who'd dump the club for a tenner extra.
Or have we got it the wrong way round, perhaps Bruce is chatting to Gyan about his future(Bruce's), you know, just mulling it over, wants to discuss his options like - "should I go to manage in France or Ghana" Bruce asks Gyan.
