The club have already replied offering their support. To be fair, it's going to have to be something simple given the timescales. Maybe just getting it hung or just passing along?
We should wrap a goat up in it, get it on the half way line, and have everyone who donated stab the goat through the banner in tandem before having it passed round the stands. Maybe a sacrifice could help us out of our free fall.

I think passing it along the South and East Stands with it ending up in the South East corner over the exit tunnel would be simple and effective.
Had a reply from the banner makers, which I've replied to asking for clarifiction, but they're saying it won't be ready until after Christmas. On one hand, that could be okay, on the other, it means it could be the Newcastle game before we see it.

The banner people have been in touch and said that they'll pull out the stops and call people in off holiday to try for January 1st. For that time frame, it'll need collecting. I'm aware that one of ours knows exactly where the banner place is, so I'll ask if he could do it. As a safety net, anyone else liable to pass Oldham? How about a scouser?
Short answer atm. The banner is ready and a fan from Manchester is kindly collecting. The club are looking at the best options for them to display it.
