We simply must sign Alderweireld. The boy is DC Different Class Great at centre back all season, filling in to midfield admirably and now a composed sweeper. All this and we've yet to see him at right back where he plays for Belgium. Best game from Shane Long doing what Shane Long does with an honest, hard working, industrious performance. He definitely looks happier as part of a front two. Well done Prince Harry Reed on an energetic debut. He didn't give Barkley or Eto a moments peace. Was this a glimpse into why Cork has not got a new contract? Enjoyed the atmosphere at the ground. There is always a few moaners about, but on the whole I think no one expected this win and we got behind the players from the start and every Reed tackle(there were a few) was welcomed with roars of approval

Does anyone know what even happened to him? He tweeted a picture of his bandaged leg after an op, but that is all we know. Was it an injury or something corrective?
Looking at the 90 minutes yesterday, I was so pleased to see the Academy young ones getting experience. But there was something odd about Dominic Gape when he came on. It bothered me when I watched MOTD, and again while I watched Saints own highlights on the Player. And finally it was struck me why... He was wearing black boots..! It would be the sign of the times when a footballer looks odd in black boots, but that time has finally arrived.
