Now that the dust has settled, it really is depressing. As many others have mentioned, I don't know where this club is going or what actual goals they have. We seem stagnant or regressing, yet these were the times when things would be different, no longer having to put up with financial constraints, we were told once money was available the good times would role in. However none of that has come to materialise, instead we find ourselves in the same old position of having to fight for the top 4, and our performances against the big teams has gotten even worse. We've now played all the big sides, and have failed to win a single one of those games, we haven't managed to beat Everton, City, Spurs, Chelsea, United, and now Liverpool. And that's not good enough, we are just a distinctly good team at the moment with a lot of averages in us, and it's really depressing. This club is really going nowhere at the moment, we'll most likely end the season in 4th, 0 trophies, zero progression in terms of properly challenging for the league, but once again Wenger and the club will talk up how great it is that we finished 4th and qualified for the 18th consecutive year in Europe. This club has lost sight of what success actually is, and a lot of that is down to Wenger who has moved the goal posts in defining what success is, the bare minimum now is being lauded as major achievements, 4th has been turned into a trophy, and qualifying for Europe is seen as the double. Eventually this has to come down to the manager, and it's not good enough, Wenger cannot get it done anymore, it's clear as daylight that he is not the man to move us forward, I don't know what more evidence some people need to finally accept that. Yes, when it comes to getting us top 4, and balancing the books, then Wenger's your man, but that's not the debate. We're talking about going to the next level, consistently winning trophies, and challenging, and playing dominant proper football, when it comes to this, it's so obvious Wenger is not the man for that, for goodness sakes we haven't beaten any of the big 6 sides this season so far, what more proof needs to be shown that Wenger isn't good enough against the big boys?

with defenders like these we get the results we deserve. View attachment 34450 here's Monreal " shoring up the defence " good aint he ?
What a f**ing abysmal performance that was. It would have been a complete robbery if we won that, because we were dreadful. Could not string two passes together for most of the game and utterly s**t in defence and midfield. The OX,Sanchez,Mert,Flamini,Welbeck and Chambers were dreadful and Wenger as per usual did not have a f**ing clue. Please leave you f**ing useless c**t.
Look at the state of that ****!!! With his bloody water bottle and retarted views. If we finished last this **** would spin into a positive I am sure.
Of course you were. Look at the state of your team, especially your defence and keeper, without your most lethal forward and having lost your last league game.
Where was Walcott? Why not bring him on when we had the perfect opportunity to counter attack and in Walcott we have probably the quickest player in the world. If he was not fit enough to play 20 mins, then why ****ing name him on the bench? Why take off Giroud instead of Welbeck when he was having a better game and also a key man on set pieces when we are defending? How can anyone with any sort of sense back Wenger?
Who else would you have had on the bench in walcotts place? Everyone is injured. And let's not forget giroud is only just back from a leg break, I can see why he is being subbed after an hour or so to ease him back in a bit.
So he was there just to make up the numbers? If he was not fit, then why not take Akpom, who is fit enough to play a game of football, actually just seen the bench and Bellerin was not named on the bench as well. Not injured the last time I checked, again another non-injured who would have been more useful than Walcott, who Wenger did not bother to use. He could have doubled up with chambers on the right and used his pace to break. So that's two names for you. As for Giroud, he is not your typical Arsenal player, the guy recovered from a leg break in no time, and he was showing zero signs of fatigue when he was subbed off. And anyway a tiring Giroud would have been more useful than Welbeck yesterday who was shocking all game.
