Bollox you did! You said "Yes go back to hoofball if the alternative is sideways passing going nowhere". You only made 1 caveat - we play hoofball if we continue with our current passing game performances. Unless the other caveats were there in invisible ink!
Why does it have to be a choice between hoofball and passing sideways going nowhere football? There is such a thing as slow build up play mixed with longer, incisive passing. That looks like what we'll eventually aim to do. Hoofball totally bi passes the midfield and gives away possession, like we did last season. This time we look to be instilling a passing game, admittedly it's a slow burner, but it's the way to go. The side lacks steel and creativity at present, but the foundations are being laid. Much more promising than McDonut's hoofball castle built on sand, with his ageing journeymen and Reading rejects
I haven't said it has to be a choice mate, I don't care on formation or style as long as we succeed. WJ said would I prefer hoofball - from what I am seeing there isn't much difference in boring hoofball or sideways passing and lack of chances, we are having less chances on goal now than in the last dozen years and that's improvement?? Ideal world pretty creative football and win, we can aim for that all we want but it isn't happening. We are half way through a season and I don't personally believe the players we have are going to take us to the next level. At the moment it is slow sideways play before losing the ball and conceding a goal or at least giving the opposition a chance to score a goal. Same thing as far as I am concerned, if it isn't and you failed to understand or I failed in my initial comment to make the point I was trying to make then read post 199 as I stand by that opinion
Hoofball got us nowhere and we were constantly **** with no room for improvement. Now we're employing a passing game and we're still **** but with room to improve. That's the difference.
Tell you what, it would be better long term to get relegated this season with this passing philosophy instilled throughout the squad, then go on to achieve two successive promotions, than to constantly finish lower to mid table in the Championship playing hoofball. Sometimes you have to take a step back to achieve greatness than constantly tread mediocrity
I would take relegation cos of admin and Cellino out right now. If that happens we just might get back on track. It ain't ever happening with him running the show or with Redfearn as coach.... Simples
Biggest problem with admin is well get some old cute whore buying the club for a quid. And for all the mouthing off the fans do, they wouldn't even raise a quid between the lot to try and stop him
Perhaps it's time for a timeout whilst he's in charge, then? How about turning your allegiance to Leeds Ladies. You could team up with your old mukka!
And I see Mike farnan has also thrown his lot in with the Leeds Ladies. Was wondering why cooper and him seemed so pally lately on Twitter
But Derby was 1 of the last 4 games you muppet so we got 4 points.Do you realise excluding your draws and wins you have lost every game this season ?. did you take stupid lessons or is it all natural.
You stated our performances were worse, and I asked how you worked that out.As you didn't answer the question let me,you based it on the fact you've been to see no Leeds games at all, you've not given any facts to back up your rubbish,so you based it on nothing apart from ristac made the story up so it must be right.got it
