    Bring back Ince.
    Get rid of Ben Arfa.
Sell a couple such as Figueroa, Sagbo.
Bring in some other coach(s) to freshen things up. Like West Ham did with Sheringham.
Bring in a striker and/or creative midfielder in place of Ben Arfa. Someone like Januzaj.
    Play more attacking football.
    Run to the byeline.
Stop back passing to McGregor so often.
    Run at teams.
Run down the wing more often and put in more crosses and service.

Stop playing 3 at the back and persisting with tactics that don't work.

    -------------------------McGregor

    Rosenior------Chester-----Davies/Dawson-----Robertson

    -------------Livermore-----------Huddlestone

    Elmohamady--------------Diame----------------Brady

    ----------------------------Jelavic

    Harper, Dawson/Davies, Bruce/McShane, Meyler/Quinn, Hernandez, Ramieriez, Ince

**** me its easy this management lark innit. Run down the wing!!!!FFS

Your midfield two are banned. 2 of those CB's are injured.
1 of your midfield 3 is injured.

    Now try again.

Rafa Benitez is available i think

Come on and stop playing devils advocate.

You know as well as everyone else that we don't run at players. We don't bust a gut and we don't exploit the wings when we have Rosenior, Brady, Robertson and Elmo. We used to and that worked very well and now we just don't appear to attempt it anymore.

As for the formation. Smart arse.

I am just stating what I believe to be our strongest team/formation and there have been opportunities to play that team this season before bans and injuries.

What would you do??? f** all but waste your life on a forum putting other people's opinions down to make yourself feel better. Contribute or f** off. Nobody needs fence sitters chiming in with nothing but pointless discrediting.

How can you discredit someones opinion if you don't have your own.

13k posts of a wasting your time.

The post was general for the season not just the next game.

I am well aware of the bans and injuries as is a hermit in a cave.

Stop been twat. in the olden days we wouldn't let stuff like injuries stop players from being forced to play.

Bruce and his namby pambying the players is what's wrong with the modern game.

The only way i can see us battling out of this situation is for the big players we have missing to come back and lift the team massively however some of them have got to lift there game because they simply have not been doing it. Unfortunately even with some of the so call better players in the side we need them against the teams around us because i can't see us beating the bigger clubs and at the moment at this vital time we don't have them. Huddlestone, Livermore and Diame need the work rate of Myler and Quinny because they have the quality to boss the midfield when on form. With the team we will put out against Sunderland and Leicester i don't think any of us will be overly optimistic lets hope they surprise us

I've been saying all season that Meyler has been totally ****. And yesterday underlined my opinion even more. He was utterly awful and he shouldn't have been considered for a first team place ahead of Quinn. He was fine at Championship level and alright in a pinch last season, but his lack of quality has shown through now that we have better options. Having work rate isn't a plus point for a footballer, they should do all that anyway, but it's not like Meyler gives 100% anyway. We lack quality in depth, which something that needs addressing. I can't imagine what our bench will look like on Boxing Day, but I imagine it will be something like: "Jakupovic, McShane, Meyler, Rosenior, Sagbo, Brady, Hernandez", which the last 2 aside doesn't provide us much quality from the bench.

I don't think we are going to beat Sunderland, they're playing pretty well at the moment so it's going to take a tremendous effort. Injuries and suspension have hit us at the wrong time, because we need to get results fast and I'm worried we aren't going to get what we probably could.

I think is says it all when we have to recall those two from their loans. If that's where we are at I cant see there being much hope.

More likely to cover further injuries and suspensions. We need enough 7 subs.

Ince will be way better that HBA. Figgs can sell some programmes or man a turnstile.

The bench will be even weaker than that. 2-4 of those players will be starting.

Is Livermore much better than Meyler? Ok Meyler is frustrating at times, giving the ball away etc etc, but I don't see any different with Livermore. If anything Meyler makes more decent forward runs, is a quality finisher and tries more ambitious passes. They are slightly different players however I don't think theres 6-7 million difference in either players.

Also Livermore has seemed to put on a lot of muscle, in my opinion for this type of player it has made him slower in the challenge and cannot get round the pitch as quickly and effectively.
