Thought Markovic played really well given he's playing in a strange position. Not the best defensively but he did a decent enough job and looked positive going forward.

Looks a totally different player to that of 4 months ago

    I'd rate it like this

Jones -6. Not much chance with either goal but didn't have much to do either. Distribution a bit better

Toure-5. Looks cumbersome at times which fits in with the rest of our defence
Skrtel-6 at toned for poor defending with great equaliser. Play him up front!
Sakho-7 still looks awkward but the best of the three.

Henderson7- does exactly what you expect from him. Tireless but still not creative enough
Gerrard-6. What has happened to his shooting. Once so lethal now lucky to get close to target.
Lucas -8. Looks to be getting close to where he was a couple of seasons ago. Still a bit ponderous at times. Unlucky not to score.
Markovic. -7 very lively and finally starting to look the part. Still needs to be more positive in possession
Couthino-9. Great goal, kept us going forward. So lively and great dribbling. If only he could be more clinical when presented with good opportunities.
Lallana -8 despite what others have said thought he played well and pressed the ball all game.
Sterling-7 don't like him in this roll, much better when moved out wide but again decision making is poor.

I think ok... I'd knock a couple back slightly

Lucas ran out of steam on 70/75 mins so for me 7

    Coutinho 8 max

Lallana was a 6 fir me, he's got in trick which is a cruyff turn and that's it so playing up front sterling and coutinho out classes him

In the end...... 2-2 I'd have taken before the game!

    Na he's rubbish <ok>

Serious note I wouldn't start him and I thought he was poor today.

Last half hour depending on how we are playing, in a forward position.

No debate - tbf that's why we post. It would be boring if we all agreed.

I think some are very harsh, and others are ignoring the problems.

Somewhere in the middle is probably about right.

Need a striker that scores goals and we win games like today, regardless of the numerous other problems.

Read the sky sports right up. The ratings they give skrtel a 7 and Sakho a 6. Coutinho only a 7... And guess who got motm? You guessed it, the guy at fault for arsenals first and partly at fsult for the 2nd. In a game of 5 shots with 2 conceded a liverpool defender gets motm... Talk about a goal papering over the cracks <laugh>

Just had a very heated argument with a fellowith liverpool fan.

It is very easy to criticize a team when results are not good. Rodgers has tried and tried to change formations as well as players. He is slowly getting it right.

What I will not do, is call for his head. He has proven he can do well but if any team was denied the services of SAS, they would struggle.

Markovic was lambasted by many but is slowly showing his potential. Sturridge is yet to come back. We overachieved last season and if any fan is honest, our performances this season are a reflection of the norm. Onwards and upwards lads

I wouldnt have posted much more, I only came on to say Gerrard was man of the match and the absurdity of comments on here did not allow me to leave.

Just shows how little some people know about the game while criticizing players and managers, Gerrards class stood out a mile today, especially the last half hour.

I can see us getting Torres, although a mate of mine has just pointed out the tweet is wrong in the sense he is still Chelsea property - we wouldn't be loaning him from AC as the tweet suggests.
