I'm a wreck here me like, got this funny shaking thing going on (JD?, nerves? **** knows...) I'm ashamed to say I hoyed £50 on the ****ers at 84 mins or so cos we were sitting too deep, never been so happy to lose. Seb & Fletcher were ****ing superb, anyone says again Fletch can't control, hold up, lay off again I will tell them to start watching ****ing netball. Coates terrified us in first 5 mins but then he was magnificent. Buckley came on looked like a ****ing angry reindeer for 5 mins then made the most fantastic of runs, brilliant lad, and AJ, I ****ing love you man. Big game, AJ more then often is the man, can't wait to see the goal again it looked a bit Brazil '70 to me! ****ING GET IN!!!
Absolutely loved the game today. I'm still pretty much laid up after my op so QWOP (bless him), came round to my place to watch the game. 4 in a row now watching the derbies with QWOP Promise I will bring him to the return at the SOL.. We created so many absolute sitters! They had two good chances I think, Ayoze and the sub. We had Connor two yard header Gomez side foot from 12 yards unchallenged AJ turn onto left foot and awful miss AJ wonder goal Seb round the keeper miss FIVE absolute sitters. We were so creative and it could easily have been another 0-3. Hated the tension, loved the joy of late goal
Great result, great team performance, I would have settled for a draw at any time of the game, but to win it at the death was awesome, we certainly needed the points, what a difference a win makes.
I just have to mention Fletch again, Seb, MOM easily but Fletcher was ****ing superb I thought, genuinely superb. Some of his touch and hold stuff was top, top class.
Yeah Fletch came to the SJP party for the 1st time in style. Gomez was both brilliant and infuriating in one game. AJ too.
I think we are a better team with Gomez in, he's very calm and assured. Apart from that miss like, and the desperate attempt at a shot from 312 yards moments after... Like the lad.
