Nope, you're useless because you signed badly in the transfer window again, failed to address our clear problems from last year, continue to play awful out of form/just awful players when you have better options on the bench, and countless other reasons.

He is so ****ing arrogant and up his own arse.

Even with Sturridge and Suarez, he got a lot of things right. Tactics were flexible but right, team selections were often good calls and he made useful substitutions. This year, he does none of those three and it has nothing to do with losing those two players.

  4. The main difference being we were winning last year so hardly anyone was bothered about the changes he was making, we're now losing so the finger pointing is in full force.

Brod has his faults like all managers do but he doesn't deserve the **** he's been getting recently IMO

Fair play for him being honest and not chatting absolute PR nonsense.

Transfers have done for him - amongst other things as Alexb has said.

The only way back for him is to start getting results now.

Its not over for him, but it will be if the second half of the season continues in the same vain.

Brendan has shown to be a class manager when the pressure is off. We were flexible in how we played last year having moved from a "tiki-taka" style to free flowing attacking one.

This year, yes he has injuries to critual players which have made playing up to last years level difficult. But what disappoints me is that we don't have any answers to any questions on the pitch. We don't react to out opposition, our system is not flexible and proves to be reasonably toothless.

What makes it worse is Rodgers looks to be a completely differnt man under pressure. The choices he makes are becoming more irrational and he rarly acchnolwedges are true Weeknesses on the pitch which is the way we defend and "midfield pressing". He quite simply can't handle the presure despite arguably having the ability!

A lot was made from that shrink we employed at the club last year to inject confidence in to the manager and the club. Does anyone know if he is still there? Because I think Rodgers needs a job done on him!

For the record... I don't think he deserves the criticism. But it comes with the job! He clearly has talent as a manager, so his mindset is frustrating!

Rodgers problem is he is betraying the legacy of last season and his philosophy with his team selection this season.

No problem with him defending himself, the majority of fans want him to turn it around. I've said a few times though it just doesn't seem to be happening and the constant stupidity of selecting players that are not performing is one of the things that is turning fans against him.

He does deserve criticism IMO - playing the wrong system week in week out, showing blind faith in under-performing seniors, quick to critcise youngsters who have done nothing wrong.

Bottom line is, this is his 3rd season. When he went for his interview with FSG is this what he planned for 3 seasons later? In fact, pretty much what he planned, went out the window in the first season. During his tenure he has reacted to situations rather than have any clear vision of his own that deserves any credit.

Personally the only issue I have with the Rod is his transfers, the large amount spent on Badon Lovren and thellama

Rodgers also said in the second half of the season the team would perform better as they got used to everything, it is starting to look that way on recent performances, even the thumping at OT

    Wrong I'm afraid.
It's the transfers that let him down, this is his failing, the summer ins.
Good striker Defender and AM and we'd be better off, instead we got Lambert Badon Lovren and thellama.
This is why it has gone tits up.

This season was always going to be on a downward trend because of how well we did last season even if he did buy well in the summer. I reckon with a decent forward and CB, and not even bothering to sign thellama, we'd be 9 or 10 points better off

He's slowly into morphing into Roy Hodgson. But with even less honours than the magnificent titles wins in Sweden with Malmo so he's referencing manager of the year award instead.

You've missed my point. When he came into the job, he knew the parameters he was going to work in. It would have been discussed with FSG and he knew full well what he was getting in to. He would have put forward a plan working within those parameters. The signings, the team selection, his inability to work to the strengths of the players he has - is all his responsibility.

Also SISU there's no way you'd expect a manager to be on a downward trend in his 3rd season. Finishing 4th should be your target and regardless of what you did last season, finishing 4th is not a downward trend.

Liverpool players get better while injured.

    Lucas
    Allen
    Markovic

Sturridge was very good though. He will probably be very good when he comes back. Though his pal has left to flop in spain.
