Why don't we ban cars full stop? They cause 1,000's of deaths as well as serious health problems due to pollution.

We should also ban fatty fooods as obesity is a constant drain on the Health Service.

Question is - where do you stop.

As ST implies if we ban all modes of transport completely we will save vast anounts of money.

And why we are at it lets gst rid of all our armaments and stop spending ridiculous amounts of money on weapons and put it to a better use. It's not as if a nuclear war will happen and if it does we're buggered anyway.

I agree - lets ban everything full stop. That's the way we are going anyway. Let's just cut to the chase and do it all in one fell swoop.

Save a ****in' fortune and everyone will be content.

    Ban banning.

They said after Dunblane that banning handguns would cut gun crime.... Nope

They sad that by banning heroin, people abusing the substance would drop..... Nope

So we should ban banning stuff?

There are definitely more recreational coke users than addicts, crack included <ok>

People would argue that doing a little coke every Saturday is recreational and not an addiction.

Others would claim this is indeed a dependency. It is still very damaging and harmful. Psychologically and physically.

So when is it recreational then? There needs to be a line somewhere...

If you're not doing it every day and selling your belongings/losing friends because of it then it's not really an addiction.

I understand that the casualty ward on a weekend is no picnic either.

I think we should ban the banning of bans.

Not sure about that Tobes. Crack is pretty hardcore, second only to heroin really in terms of destructiveness.

I wasn't talking about destructiveness, just the amount of users. And crack is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more addictive than heroin is, and more expensive.
