He ain't far wrong. We are an utterly abysmal side. I won't give them the credit of calling them a team.
Would an abysmal side have got draws at Arsenal and Liverpool? Maybe we are a decent side playing abysmally.
We are absolutely ****ing atrocious. Both those draws were lucky anyway, Diames goal should have been ruled out v arse and we were absolutely ****ing fire at Anfield, although fortunately, so were Liverpool. Although they still managed to create a **** load of chances, they just couldn't stick one away.
Well, against 9 men, 10 men and then against a reserve team, yes, you won 3 games. Hopefully on boxing day, we will put out a full team and retain 11 players upon the pitch. If we do, I shall be back to provide a little bump for prosperity, and you shall be sweetly owned. To be honest, I have no beef with Hull City, I merely come to warn and therefore provide enlightenment with respect to the foregone natural conclusion that will occur for Hull City under the 'guidance' of Steve Bruce. Relegation.
NAH!! Everyone gets runs of bad luck. The Big Clubs get the real rubs of the green because of the subconscious bias of the officials. Luck will eventually turn, it's a question of when it turns and whether the right man is in charge to make use of it.
Actually the more players you had on the pitch, the more goals we scored against you last season. Any chance you can field 15 on Boxing Day?
Making reference to the FA cup QF? We put out a reserve team. I'll be back for bumpity bump on boxing day.
The number of goals we scored was inversely proportional to the number of players you had on the pitch. So yeah, I hope you have all 11 on too. No such thing as a sure thing in this league remember marra.
The reason you went down to 9 men is because you had already been royally butt ****ed and your players lost their heads. We then went on to play ****e against the 9 men.
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/dec/20/premier-league-half-time-verdict-part-1 Ricks take on it. Hull City – Rick Skelton – @HullCityLive 4/10 It’s been a huge disappointment. We started well enough and put in some positive performances – and if we’d held on to leads we established we would’ve been up with Southampton and West Ham. Unfortunately, since picking up back-to-back draws at Arsenal and Liverpool we’ve really struggled. Suddenly the right system and selection have proved hard to find and our fabulous team spirit has gone. Players who were brilliant last year like Curtis Davies and Tom Huddlestone have struggled as a result. The low point was the defeat at Burnley and the pathetic nature of it. Stars The promise of left-back Andy Robertson has been the big highlight. And the midfielder Mo Diamé started brilliantly but injuries have slowed his progress. Flops Deadline-day loan signings Hatem Ben Arfa and Gastón RamÃrez look like purchases scavenged from a bargain bin at the pound shop. The manager I’m still a big fan. He’s transformed the club from top to bottom and has brought a vision and an ethos that we didn’t have before. I’d stand by him even if we were relegated but he has made mistakes this season. The biggest being signing players who didn’t fit the excellent group dynamic he had going. 7.5/10 Who would play him in a movie? It’d be cruel to point out that the pigeon lady from Home Alone 2 is a dead ringer for Steve Bruce. But I’ve said it now.
