Absolutely. The campaign is poor, but online is a close second to MW1.

 

WAW and Black Ops are Treyarch ****e x 10.

MW and MW2 are the bad boys in first person shooters, Infinity Ward are superb developers...hackers have a tendency to ruin them though

 

COD is the most overated broken piece of **** this gen and its done more harm than good to the fps genre

I loved the megadrive and was a huge fan of Sonic. I also liked Turrican on the Commodore 64. Good times

It's very trendy to hate the games made by Treyarch, everyone seems to. I actually liked World at War and Black Ops. They were no COD 4 but still good. MW2 was disappointing compared to the first Modern Warfare though and it was an Infinity Ward game.

 

COD4 was the daddy.
Black ops comes second.
MW2 third.
WAW shouldn't even be on the list.

MW2 was ****e, a game for teenagers. Too many explosions and constant air support. WaW was the best of all, great maps/guns/spawn system for Multiplayer and zombies too. Black Ops is alright but the spawning sucks and the hit detection doesn't work well enough for my liking. New map pack is brilliant though...

 

Black Ops is the 1st COD game i've played, not a big gamer so not great at FPS but FIFA11 is my game.

It's not trendy, they just aren't as good...MW2 took a lot of time for people to accept the changes IW put in place, but it is hands down the best FPS in the market.

i prefered the last medal of honor to black ops. the sounds, landscape, explosions etc are much more realistic although lack of weapons etc get a bit dull

and getting shot by some **** with a pistol 300m away ****s me off

 

COD games, man.

Always say I won't get the new one and then always do just to trade it in a few weeks later.

Agree that the Infinity Ward games are better than the Treyarch ones but as an FPS, CoD can't compete with Battlefield.

CoD is for wee fat wheezy American boys who play nothing else - Battlefield cuffs it senseless.

 

Battlefags is a poor game with a ****ty engine and no tactics, no chance there

 

anyone played flashpoint? my mate said it was too realistic and went in a huff with it. said you get shot at from 600m, they're decent shots, 1st round kill, cant assualt without fire, cant cross open ground etc etc
