Ki was excellent, could use either foot if he was under pressure he didn't mind. His first intention was always to look forward, he would go backwards if he had to or if it meant retaining possession but he always tried to go forward. He was definately impressive.

Agree with you about Robbo, Elmo frustrates me as he doesn't looking willing to take a man on at times but when he does he quite often beats him. They both need help though someone overlapping or giving them some support.

Was he their number 4? He knew when to put his foot on the ball and seemed to mop up a lot of the head tennis that was going on in front of him.

Ki is what Huddlestone should be, hes fitter and more mobile! Gomis was better than both our strikers put together he actually held the ball up and contained all 3 of our centre halves and we still couldn't take the ball off him. The second half I have never seen us give the ball away so much and overun the ball. There was one point infront of the west stand we had 3 throw ins in the space of a minute the receiver of the ball kicked it into touch each time!

The thing that worries me is the lack of a plan, different formations and players, one of the first times I agree with Swanny. Swansea have a set plan, big strong fella upfront holds it up for two fast wingers and a creative midfielder in a 41221 formation and they pass the ball about from the back. We just seem to give it to Elmo and Robertson swing as many crosses in as you can from anywhere, and if that doesn't work hoof it. In the first 20 minutes we actually pressurised Swansea very well and upset them, then the rest of the game we couldn't string 2 passes together.

Glum times. Oh and Ramirez is that slow with his passing and dribbling, slower than Huddlestone!

I agree if Swansea change the team it doesn't change the system they have different players but they all play in the same system. So if injuries or suspensions happen it is just slotting someone in.

I thought going away from the game we are nearly in January we have no idea what formation we are playing, we have no idea our best team and we keep making constant changes. Surely we need to think long term to? If we do stay up what system do we play next year? We don't have an identity at the moment and i think the team look like they are unsure in what they are doing.

One formation that Bruce has never played is the formation that Swansea played but you need a stronger centre forward to hold the ball up. Ben Arfa would fitted in that formation. The main problem we have we have signed players to build a formation round rather than buying players to fit a formation.

Had to take a moment to admire the sheer POWER in the thighs of Wilfried Bony today.

This fella is a seriously stocky man. Absolute power.

I saw Yannick Sagbo outside Prinny Quay once and thought "**** a duck, his thighs could kill several men outright with a simple squeeze".

Then I saw Bony today, the fella is utter power. Fantastic.

I thought he had nice strong thighs too.

It was good to see him go skin to skin with Wilfried and come out on top once or twice.

He just needs to learn how to kick straight.

A proper battle of men, something we all like to see.

I thought Maguire was left footed? Why did he go to the right of the centre halfs?

Exactly its like we where scrambling on transfer deadline day, oh we can sign Diame, Ramirez and Ben Arfa. Where ya playing them Brucie? He admitted he didn't know our formation. Its time to move on from the 352 now, it has its limits esepecially with our midfield. Ben Arfa is best running at people on the opposite wing.

It's the same with QPR. Watch 'Arry go and sign a few names in January. Whether they fit a system appears irrelevant.

Have to confess that I never saw it as I fell asleep about 10 mins in. It was after 3 am but unfortunately marks the first time I have ever done this during a live TV City match. Have just finished watching the replay this afternoon and can understand why sleep kicked in. It was dire!

Awful match settled by an awful goal. Not much else to say.
