The old lady that shops in the Tesco near me has a better beard then me. But yeah I agree.

 

I bet girls who like beards are in the minority, though it is the unclipped bushy ones that I hate. At the present time, who wants to look like a terrorist? Apart from terrorists, I suppose.

 

It's the fashion atm, so a lot of girls like it, give it a few years and it will change. My beard is basically just a bit longer then stubble, I would get bored growning it to the same length as Fox's.

Back on club duty with Southend United tonight - so I can't have been too bad last time!

Southend vs Burton. A win for Southend sends them joint-third, however, if Burton win, they'll go top of League 2.

Sorry to be picky, but after all, you are a budding journalist. When did despite [de-spite] and the words hotly contested [hotly-contested] require hyphens..?

In other news, it seems as if you were doing sterling stuff by just attending. Is a Jimmy Floyd team worth watching..?

 

Technical error with the software, it seems. I phoned the Southend press officer when the horror set in and I noticed it.

He says he'll address it. It's not uncommon for a computer to hyphenate on the display, but not if C & P'd to a website. Unfortunately that didn't go as planned.

They were very solid defensively, but created next to nothing. Southend likewise, although they went close a couple of times.

Well we were in League 1 and had our fair share of good/exciting games... they do exist in the lower leagues.

 

Not in Pompey's division, they don't.

 

Some bright spark decided to put a replay of a Forest goal wrongly ruled out for offside on the big screen. Needless to say it didn't go down well.
