I'd hardly say he was taken apart. Fairly amusing letter at best. Edit: And a reply from Brand: https://www.facebook.com/RussellBrand/posts/10152580039838177
Thanks Bob - a good response from Brand, I think, to a somewhat amusing initial blog. Hopefully this will get as much attention. What will the rabid Brand-haters on here make of it?
Russell Brand is a f*****g idiot of the first order, i only need two things to prove this fact................ 1/ He supports West Ham !! 2/ He traded in Katy Perry for Jemima Khan !!
Reckon you and your mate Tommy should have a word with him Turkish
I've never liked RB - I just don't understand his appeal - or how hypocritical he can be, but I've been pretty entertained by this episode, and by both the original blog and RB's response Much as I don't like him, I can't disagree that the country, and beyond, has been taken for a bit of a ride by many (not all - to describe all those in the industry as well paid is well off the mark) in the financial services industry, aided and abetted (in my view) by many politicians of all the main parties Sadly, for all the sensationalism around stunts like RB's (and I find it difficult to believe that it was really anything else), little has genuinely changed based on my 1st hand experience
The problem with Brand is that he wallows in his own self importance. Personally I don't thinks he's particularly good at anything he does.
Absolute W'#''ker of the highest order !!! Typical rich socialist with no f**ing clue. While being totally loaded, but need to show I have a social conscience , in order for the layman to think I am on their side, and the government will just pay for everything, while I (Brand) avoids as much tax as he can. Total hypocrite, without the brain power to work it out.
So no-one with a few quid in the bank is allowed to have a social conscience? How do you know how much Brand, or Geldof, or any other 'champagne socialist' gives to charity? Do you have to be a victim of injustice to rail against injustice? Do you have to be poor to be on the side of the poor?
I don't know where I stand on the latest set of 'brand battles' I think he's a pretentious egotistical t**t, I think Farage is a lying c**t and bankers a mixture of both. It's hard to know which of them to agree with.
Never heard that one before Strolls. Like it. I like Brand and Gervais. Gervais tore the Yanks a new one at the film awards (name?) and that can't be a bad thing
