I prefer fried eggs , unless I'm cooking as omelettes can be raw or rubbery I fry one side and finish off under the grill without flipping ot folding it rises a bit too. Pro.
I make a Spanish Omlette which is about an inch thick, no flipping that baby, has to be finished under the grill. There are many recipes but mine is: Bacon cut into pieces Can of new potatoes Red and Green Sweet Peppers diced 5 or so eggs whisked with a little milk Butter Grated cheese Fry the bacon in the butter Add the potatoes and pepper, fry for a couple minutes Pour the egg into the pan and cook slowly until just about cooked through Sprinkle the grated cheese on top and brown under the grill Tip: make a **** version by substituting the bacon for mushrooms.
Don't think I'll bother with an omelette today, had one yesterday with bacon, sausage and tomato in it. Was ****ing banging.
You don't buy any of these tinned then? Baked beans Plum tomatoes Kidney Beans Chickpeas Butter beans I wouldn't use tinned potatoes for anything other than an omlette. Well, maybe a fry-up.
Are they veg though? Technically, that's a load of pulses and one fruit. Anyway, won't be long before the boxing day Turkey omelette. Can't wait.
Indeed they are. Canned potatos carrots peas spinach are rank marrowfat mushy peas are ok but the others are bland soft and tasteless. Just steam some new potatoes you ****ing maniac if you go to that much effort to make an omelette putting a few spuds in a pan is easy.
ST is not to be argued with when if comes to veg it's his thing. No wonder you can't get laid Stopme as soon as you take the lid off a can of tinned sprouts chicks will take one whif and never come back.
