Now, I'm as deflated about anyone at our current increasing levels of awful ****tery, and I'd probably be happier to see Steve Bruce sacked than anyone. But please leave your dirty booing at home, or better, just **** off and leave yourselves at home. Booing the team helps no one and achieves nothing productive. So to clarify, shut up, or **** off. Yours, Boberto
Boo boys stay home. Nobody needs you. There was somebody in block 20 who started booing at half time before shouting "2 wins. I paid for 2 wins". He was immediately shut up and shot down by those around him. Rightfully so. We don't need booing, especially at half time. It looked tacky when Arsenal were doing it to Wenger a few weeks back. Didn't sound/look any better for us.
Our support was ****e today. We really need to address this. Swansea had **** all fans, should have been a difficult atmosphere for them but it really wasn't.
If you used your season ticket every now & again you'd understand the difference between a forum boo boy (calling SB a fat useless ****, for example) & booing at the game.
Fans need something to get behind. There''s been a lack of effort recently. If it carries on there'll be more booing unfortunately.
It was as sterile as I can remember in a long time. Nothing at all. The booing is so camp. Everyone was gutted and disappointed, but booing is such a diva gesture. Get over yourselves, sisters.
I thought the North Stand tried hard to keep going in the face of an increasingly frustrating performance. As for the booing, I just wondered how much of it was actually aimed at the officials and one or two of the Swansea players who seemed capable of making miraculous recoveries from horrendous injuries suffered at the hands of such uncompromising hard men as Sone Aluko.
It might have just been a couple people near the microphone. The TV clearly doesnt give you the full picture of what is happening in the ground.
I think it would be fabulous for the microphone to be placed near an especially cantankerous married couple who are not worried about expressing their opinions.
Supporters should be encouraging their team to do something not waiting for their team to do something before they can be bothered tomake the effort to support them. We have too many spectators compared to supporters.
I agree with the above. From my seat in E6 I had a few fresh faces sat around me, £16 a game once-a season bods perhaps ? They did nothing but moan from the very first wrong placed pass. If I were 30 ( TBH 40, years younger) there could have been mayhem in E6, but to be fair, the team gave us sod all to cheer for today.
There were loads. I spent half the game in verbal conflict with people who did nowt but piss and moan for 90 ****ing minutes. Well, actually, it wasn't 90 minutes; they were fine until Swansea got that flukey goal, then, all of a sudden, they wanted everyone to know how **** City were. Poodle tosspots.
