Down to 12th now, only just in the top half and looking down now, certainly not safe. Let's hope Jacko's return makes a difference, and Bob goes back to basics, ie round pegs in round holes. I've given up hope of RD getting a decent striker in, my guess is we'll sign another dud in January.

At least we didn't draw.:emoticon-0117-talki I didn't go today, which was probably one of the best decisions I have made. Bobs ultra defensive approach is not helping. We have put it into reverse and are heading backwards at an alarming rate.

Good result for Welling though, I think I will spend the rest of the Season watching them.

Over and out. Signed Pissed off of Bexleyheath.

Yes, Buyens will be relieved, after saying that a draw was the worst possible result. It sounded as though we didn't really compete today, awful according to the commentators. Earlier in the season when some were saying we were lucky the answer was "look at the table", but I genuinely believe that in the early part of the season we had the rub of the green in several games, and it was never going to continue with our present squad.

The defence has been the bedrock of the team. Now with Pope looking uncertain and Fox not good enough, plus the two central defenders having a dip in form, we are in deep ****. Gudmundsson and Vetokele are not playing well and the midfield is missing Jackson and Le Coq.
It has come as no big surprise as I have been saying for ages that the squad is not good enough.

We are now being found out. Bob Peeters reminds me of the boy with his finger in the Dyke. He is trying hard to plug the leak but he is failing miserably.

Oh well, all is not lost, we will probably get that world class talent Tony Watt from SL. Which is like using a sticking plaster for a gaping wound.

I wouldn't mind Tony Watt, wanted him in summer too, no idea why I just think he'd do a much better job than Tucudean, Moussa, Church and the Pig put together.

Not liking these results, I am one of the few who doesn't mind Solly in midfield but Gomez needs to go CB I think, give one of the other CBs a rest, or maybe just make it so they realise they are not undroppable. We move on but at least more people are starting to see the problems, it might mean they get fixed.

If Tony Watt is the answer, God knows what the question is.

Well Bournemouth showed us what you can do to Blackpool if you put your mind to it. As for us, once again we have players played out of position, and a defeat. This seems to have been a theme of every thread about results and managers since Curbishley was in charge. We play the players out of position and they respond badly. I stuck by Powell for all his good work, and I'd have happily stuck with Jose Riga. However Bob came with a clean slate, and he's now settled in to the managerial doctrine that playing the players out of position will somehow confuse the opposition. Crass error. If RD wants to shuffle the managers again, he can do it with my blessing. We are well short of the squad we need, but this style of car crash management his finally done with my patience.
I'll see if I cool down over the weekend, but expect a Bob Out thread from me if not.

Dont start mate. CL has been full of hate on the match thread all afternoon and reamer the screamer on INTO has stared a campaign to sack the foreign cnut and send him back to the belgie circus. Came on here looking for a bit of sanity!

we're missing jacko big time. peeters bulds the midfield around him and don't know what to do with the formation without him. but time for our fourth manager in nine months? anyone who reckons that's the way to go is bonkers. Leeds tried four managers in a year and look where it has got them. We could get powell back. but Udders have lost five of their last seven matches and thats more than peeters has lost all season. The udders fan sites are calling for powell to be sacked just like the chalrton fan sites want bob sacked. they could swop places. that would be a laugh.

Hate to say "I told you so" but six months back I said Bob was a non entity with a non entity track record in a non.entity league. He was 12 month punt by RD. Its not all his fault, injuries , suspensions and loss of form have exposed RDs anorexic squad. BUT...Bob seems not be learning from his mistakes. What was that formation all about today? Every season one team plummets down the league on a terrible run, and ends up relegated. This season that team could well be us.

Some fair points Kent but your argument is flawed. Jackson has been an absolute passenger most of this season.

When was the last game we played well? I don't mean won, but played well, not just defended well? I can't remember one since Derby, but I'm waiting to be corrected, and my memory ain't what it used to be!

BP seems to have panicked without JJ. Still not sure why he continues to mix up the back 5 when we already have the influential Henderson out. Solly needs to drop back.

On to the next one. I still see this side capable of getting a couple wins in the next few matches, but come January we really need that investment.
