We need to win tomorrow to get our season moving in the right direction. I havent got a clue how we are going to do it, but we need to go out tomorrow and somehow score more goals than Arsenal. That gap to the top four is becoming quite substantial now.
Yes. And the worry is not just the gap but the number of clubs that are bunching up behind the top four ahead of us. It will need us performing much better and getting the points and at the same time at least 6 clubs faltering. Arsenal on paper better than us but somehow we always thrash them at home so fingers crossed.
this gap to top 4 was always going to open. thats why i ignored mostly the oh we're only x off the top 4 crap. unitl lfc get a real forward bought in january (or not) that gap will be there... end of. but for carl... not sure when exaclty we've always trashed arsenal at home cos the record shows thats not the case. 5-1 last year was nice but we'd need a repeat to fire us up.
Oops. My bad. Today is a must win if ever there was one. Otherwise the coc match will be seen as just a blip and we're back to square one. A scrappy lucky 1-0 win will do or Rodgers will be engulfed with massive negativity
well i think its must not lose first. I feel as though winning the other 3 games over the period coming is where we need to go but not losing to arsenal is vital. that would be 10/12 points and an amazing return. yes a win would be great but realistically it aint easy.
Can't say I much care about what Robbie Savage thinks about anything, tbh. What startling new insight did he bring that hasn't occurred to anyone else?
