Definitely deserved something out of that game. Must admit, I Mike have started Phelan a little bit differently about our management team.
No complaints...could have snatched it at the end but could have come away with nothing against a very good Derby side, although they have played much better this season than they did today. Clearly Mike Phelan has and will continue to make a difference to NA's way of thinking about going in to games - and for the better
Or worse? I think you may have turned to the dark side mate. Derby lost in the play off final a 2-2 would mean extra time.
I'm as critical of Adams as anyone, but we played well today and got a point. I don't see where the negativity is coming from after that. Hell of an improvement on Boro.
I thought we were slightly the better team, disappointing we didn't win it but it is a good away point. If we keep this up we might just get into the play offs.
McLaren has just said we were the best team they have come across all season - what does he know!! Most people who watched us get a point away at the top of the table side who are favourites for promotion thought we were the best team - what do we know!! The Sky experts and others thought we were a very good side - what do they know!!! Sorry but you might have to accept - shock horror!! - that you might possibly be wrong and that Adams and his team might know what they are doing and does - as the man on Sky said - get his team selection spot on. I don't know where we will end up this season - I'm not as clever as you - but how you can be unhappy today I do not understand.
I was only pulling your leg. It was a good game today and that's 3 on the spin without defeat. Really we should have won today and if we can maintain these levels of performances we should come through the Christmas period without a loss.
On top throughout apart from the opening ten minutes. That isn't bad away to a team expecting a top two finish.
Totally dominant. But that does highlight the one criticism mentioned earlier - just three shots on target from 17 shots is simply not good enough. We deserved to draw because of that. We are still not creative enough in the final third? To concede two from two shots on target is also really annoying again...
I would say Derby were dominant between 35 and 45 mins actually. The first goal wasn't a surprise when it came for me, because they had looked more dangerous and we stopped shutting them down
Maybe it's because We're 7th. We are still playing Martin at CB, even though its costing us goals & points. Our best CB pairing is warming the bench. We're playing very narrow, to cover for Martin's inadequatcies. Hoolahan appears to be fit which almost certainly means he'll start each week. Past performance suggests he'll have one good game in every 3 or 4 he plays. People keep saying we're playing well, but we're not getting the points we need. There are 3 or 4 teams in the league that are a lot better than us. The January transfer window is fast approaching and I fear that there will be several squad members who will be thinking like me, considering their options and thinking the grass is greener. Hooper, Turner & Redmond for example. and what makes it worse is that we have the squad to do much better than we are.
Grabban should have started Hooper is only on 2 goals we needed his clinicle finishing he was the 3rd shot on target today 100% accuracy after last weeks goal from his first touch.
