    Boro though.

Its the equivalent of the Hobbit trilogy to the Lord of the Rings films

Plus Boro folk have 12 fingers & toes.
Also, they are all green & cook themselves due to the obnoxious, poisonous chemical atmosphere.
It's the only town in England that doesn't need a microwave oven.

Alnwick is fit so there'll be no 17 year olds played on Sunday. Who's the youngest though?

Disagree there. The hobbit films blow the overacted Lord of the Rings out of the water.

Yeah, I think the Lord of the Rings films were dire. Elijah wood was dreadful, the soundtrack tried to hard, they were overacted and just bad all round.

Think the Hobbit films are better by a distance.

Lord of the Rings every time for me,...The books were superb..The Hobbit book was basically just a short story and didn't in any way shape or form compare to the Lord of the Rings books..

Read all of the books as well and I'd have said they're both equally very good personally, possibly why I felt so let down by LOTR, left way, way too much out.

The Hobbit was by no means just a short story mind I'm not sure what you mean by that.

Well as this is a football forum I'd just like to draw a little parallel between the 17 year old of yesteryear with the Pardew comment of today. There might be an argument to say its the one position you can compare more easily down the years I reckon Jimmy at 17 could have coped with Tyne Wear derby...just needs a Gandalf to say go on son you can do it....

They all bought the bedsheets and wanted Pardew the Grey gone so he could return as Pardew the White. On Sunday his pants will be Radagast the Brown.

Yes...you're right...and he was younger as I remember...
    *My point would
be there's probably MORE protection from officials than in those days...Senior pros would look after kids to be honest now the physical side would be picked up better...so what was Pardews gripe? If the kids good enough he's old enough...Casillas for eg in Spain....
