I remember Luca Furbatto saying a few months ago that Vergne's feedback was limited, but I guess it's better than a rookie doing simulator work. Unfortunately De La Rosa is leaving.
Considering he was still making frequent rookie mistakes this season my faith that JEV would give consistent feedback is... not high. Beats Formula E I guess.
It is looking even more likely that Honda have engine problems. It is being reported in a few places that Eric B is aligning McL/Honda with Ferrari and Renault on not wanting the engine freeze to kick in at the beginning of the season but to allow in season testing!!!! It seems to me like Honda must have big problems as they don't have to abide by the engine development tokens this year. The only reason I can think that Eric is effectively asking for more time to develop the engine is they have fairly major reliability problems or they have discovered a way of getting more power but the lead time is too long to meet the engine freeze at the beginning of the season. Any thoughts?

I dont know if I agree with Lewis being allowed to keep #44. The #1 should always be on the champions car. Once again commercialism is ruining the soul of the sport

Ferrari and Red Bull have piled on the pressure and as normal FIA have agreed! Terrible. Oh and Honda have to submit engine by 28th feb and NO in year development!!!!!!!
