Don't like it, the midfield would get ripped apart, personally I really want to see the team I have been begging for all season which is ---------------------Silvestri---------------------- Byram-------Pearce------Cooper-------Warnock ----------------Cook------Mowatt----------------- Montenegro----------Sloth---------------Adryan ---------------------Antenucci-------------------- Most people seem to forget that Adryan is a left winger turned number 10 role. He is more than capable of playing out wide and I actually think he'll be much less of a liability out there and more effective going forward. Montenegro is a winger that can play either side and we need some of his pace (and to see whether he is actually good enough). Sloth looked decent when playing infront of the midfield when he was last in the team but maybe a bit isolated due to a lack of bodies getting forward quick enough but with this formation there would be enough options. Also remember that because of the type of players you'd want Montenegro, Sloth and Adryan to rotate and drift amongst each other in that attacking 3 behind the striker. I worry about playing Cook and Mowatt together and I'd be tempted to play Austin instead of Cook if fit. I've decided I don't like Bianchi, don't think he is good enough.
Thats the thing though, I don't know about Del Fabro because he is very young and we do have other options there, its also a risky role to be experimenting with. But Montenegro we don't have other options as far as I'm concerned and we know he has blistering pace. Its worth a go in a relatively non-risk role in the side. If he's useless then we know at least.
wish we could change the whole defence they are ****e , here is a little puzzle :- what solution is there when you keep letting in goals ? solution is keep putting the same defenders in the team and hope they learn from their mistakes. RESULT WE KEEP ON BLOODY LOSING !! OBSERVATION CHANGE THE WHOLE BLOODY DEFENCE AND GET SOME FANTASTIC DEFENDERS IN THEIR PLACE INSTEAD OF CRAP ONES !
It's not that simple though. Lots of crap defences in the pl also. They have endless resources but can't simply go out and buy a quality defence. What chance of a team in lower reaches of the championship with a transfer embargo being able to do it
Jugster, I agree with that team selection with the exception of Austin. He's good for about 20 minutes, but when he shoots he either tries to hit the lads at back of stands, or tries to pocket the ball in corner flag. I would be tempted to try Berardi along side Bianchi, not too many goals have been scored down Berardi's side when he played, might turn out to be a good experiment. Ellandback, I also agree with your two mids of Adryan and Mowatt, Cook has been a bit flat of late and I think he may need a rest; at 17 he's still got a lot of years in front of him and will be a major part of our first team as he gets older.

Chippy, if wallie means an abuser or someone who makes things up, no I'm not. Didn't really jump ship, I believe one of the dreary abusers got admin to ban me as I can't get in. They, a few of them, didn't like anyone like me who stood up against them. Don't be surprised to see a couple of other sensible ja606 members come over in not too distant future, the leeds forum has shrunk dramatically cos of the abusers. I believe some sensible ex members are on here now too.
