Would you go to watch a film at the cinema and leave 5 minutes before the end and miss the finale? No? Then why is it that with 10 minutes of the game left at the KC people start streaming for the exits. This drives me to despair when you spend the last 10 mins either standing up to let people past or not being able to see for people standing up in front of you to let other twats out. I am currently spending my Friday evening warming up my vocal chords to let these arseholes know what I think or I may just kindly thank them for spoiling my viewing of the last 10 mins of every game. I despise all of these people!
That's what gets me. I'm not bothered if they'd rather miss 10 mins of football just to beat the traffic, but if there is a bit of action on the pitch while they try to get out they stand in your way, if there not bothered why stop and obstruct your view. In fact there should be a separate section for those that want to leave early
It's just a bit **** really, walking out on your team while they're playing. How can getting home a few minutes earlier be more important than the team you came to watch?
Ah yes it's every SINGLE person's human rights to bother 10's, 100's or even 1,000's of people. Have a bit of consideration for those around you EDIT who payed to watch a full game of football.
You're right but other people pay to see a full match and have the right to see the full match. I don't have a season ticket so when I go I sit in all different areas of the stadium. Last season I got sat on the front row of the east stand and with 10 mins to go there was a constant stream of people leaving walking from the North East corner to the south east corner, had to stand to watch the remainder of the game but got constantly told to sit down by those behind me. I paid to see 90+ mins of that game so I should be able to
So if your in a pub and you want to leave but you've got to push past someone you won't do it. You will sit there until they leave will you.
My sister and her then boyfriend took me to a cup replay evening game in the mid 70s. It went to extra time. She insisted we leave after 90 minutes 'cos she'd promised me Ma she'd have me home by 10. It remains the only time I've ever left a football match before the final whistle. It wasn't my fault. It wasn't my call. I still burn with shame when I think about it.
