Root is a good shout. However Cook has been batting at the top of the order and Morgan has been coming in when the team is behind, different pressures.. Top 3 or 4 should be your best batsmen in terms of 50 over cricket.
If Hereford aren't viable, they are just a symptom of football as a whole not being viable. The FA as custodians of the game should be doing something other than encouraging a race to bankruptcy as salaries and transfer fees spiral upwards and clubs are having to mortgage their future just to be competitive. The FA frankly are not fit for purpose.
Couldnt agree more. However Morgan hasnt made any game changing, or game winning, innings for quite some time now after a period when he was really exciting and effective. Im thinking that both Cook and Morgan should be dropped from the ODI team for a bit - i would like to see Vince and Taylor given an extended run in the team to see how they do.
