Well that was fun. Spent an hour watching two grand daughters performing in the school Christmas production. Both of them have perfect French accents which makes me very envious. You think that when your children leave school you have done with such events, but no, it starts again. Come home with decorations that the children made and a bag of truffles, chocolate variety. Hope that none of them had a runny nose when they rolled them.
Morning all. Summer has finally arrived, just as my holidays start. I only have to go to work for one day between now and January 18th. The temperature is expected to hit 27c today and a BBQ by the pool is planned for this evening. Not my pool, I hasten to add, the school pool, which has finally just been fixed following the earthquake nearly four years ago. Still, pools are less important than homes, and a lot of people are still living in temporary or damaged houses.
