I guess if the worst case scenario happens, those are the type of players who would serve us well in the Championship.
Is he really offering Meyler a new deal? Elmo, Chester, Brady, Quinn and Rosenior aside, I don't think any of the other Championship old guard deserve a new contract, we can replace them with better players for a lot less.
He has more composure and reads the game better (Bruce), the ones having a go at him are generally the type of idiots abusing the manager
and we were beating Arsenal till Bruce came on - we were playing utter **** at QPR until Bruce went off - we scored 5 minutes later - Fulham last season is a great example - losing 2 0, Bruce off and we draw 2 2 - Bruce is by far the worst defender in the Prem, he only plays because of his dad - no other Prem manager has ever wanted him - he never started any of the cup games last season - it was Faye or Macca - yet for the final his dad gives him a cup final on his cv - it's a total ****ing disgrace - I've been a season ticket holder for years but this will be the last season if his dad gives him a job again - I refuse to pay to watch the worst example of nepotism ive ever seen
http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/faye-blasts-hull-boss-bruce-favouring-son-alex-4029766#.VJONAyYABg another player pissed off with nepotism
http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bruce-jnr-set-to-return-to-blues-14641 says it all really - even Tranmere didn't want him but daddy comes to the rescue - sort of has a continuing deja vu about it - daddy constantly bailing him out even though he's too **** for anyone else - even TWS loaned him out to Huddersfield
Want to actually read that article? There were a number of extenuating circumstances for why Bruce was recalled from that loan. You rattle off a bunch of games where him coming on or off changed the game - which in itself is a ridiculous notion. For instance Davies was at fault for the Arsenal equaliser, and we were **** in midfield against QPR, Quinn coming on had more to do with the change in momentum - but how about the FA Cup Final? After he got injured what happened?
his stupid diving in was responsible for their first - he gave them momentum - he had to leave Birmingham for Ipswich because of all the accusations of nepotism
http://www.greenun24.co.uk/ipswich-..._of_unwanted_town_eight_set_to_leave_1_544028 then Ipswich didn't want him - as I said - its only his dad that will give him a job
I've a little sympathy for Bruce (Jr) and he's not as bad as some make out but I do get pissed off with this "he was ace in the Cup final" malarkey - he made a **** challenge that gifted them the free kick for the first goal. I'd say that was pretty ****ing calamitous regardless of how well he played after he presented them with their opening goal.
No, you know who presented Arsenal with their opening goal? Allan McGregor with his ****ty keeping from free kicks. If Bruce had stuck with Harper in goal I reckon we would have won.
Who was the best striker in the Premiership last season ?. And who kept him quiet at the KC in a 3-1 win. Bruce Jnr will always have his critics but what you see is what you get. What he lacks in ability he makes up for in effort , courage & determination , admittingly those traits are not always enough in games but to label him the worst defender in the Premiership is disrespectful to him to say the least. I would rather have a player who is 100% committed every week then someone who isnt.
