Maybe so but I really don't understand why people are irritated if some go early. There's plenty of people in this City who don't even support their own club now that bothers me. But we are all different
I'm proud of him too!!! He says and does all the things I haven't the balls to!! (Even if I do have to put as strategic pair of hands over my 12 year old's ears on occasions!! ) I will take that Jake Humphrey incident at Wembley with me to the grave!!!
Stop been ****. Seriously. Just stop it. Name - Not bothered. Would shake up the status quo in football in England which frankly needs a huge kick up the arse. Stadium - Not bothered, but for me, needs to be in Hull not outside it. This has changed a few times. Honestly not sure how I feel about Melton. It's a little too far for me I think, but, if that's what it takes to move away from HCC and gave us a better ground, just for us, I would have a think about it and consider the pros and cons. Colours - GTF. This would seriously piss me off. More than a tweak to the name would. I've never EVER said Id entertain a colour change. Black, Amber. That is all. B&ATWD. Logo - As long as it keeps a Tiger on it, sure. This has changed a few times now. Not fussed about anything else on the logo, certainly don't get all precious over the club name on it. Yes I like the current one. So you got your answers, honest ones too, will you NOW stop been ****?
Fair. We did have red in the kit one bit. The world ended for a bit but it got better. We didnt even have a badge on that postcard Lincs posted t'other day.
IBC did us twice, mid nineties for a couple of years & then again towards the end of the nineties for a couple of years. The Amber shirt had a red pin stripe around the time DR took over. *Note: This is my "non sweary" post for the year.
So, your post where you said the name, the stadium, the kit and the logo didn't matter was just a load of bollox then?
So Everton being a mid-placed Premier League team didn't influence Lescott or Arteta when they signed. Nor did the promise of first team football. You paid £5 million for Lescott in 2006-7. I wonder how much that would be in today's money. Most probably more then our record signing of £10 million. Ben Arfa hasn't worked out, either for us or Newcastle. I wouldn't have seen him fitting in with David Moyes to be honest. Ramires may work out but that depends on Southampton willing to sell. We have some good players but we need a bit more quality and hard work to be an established bottom half team that doesn't have to face the threat of relegation every year. Without money that isn't possible.
****ing hell. You really are that stupid. OK, I'm typing this slowly, just for you, lemme know if it's too fast. What I said was.. Even if we were wound down and deleted entirely in the present, our history would be the same. Changing the name, moving stadium, new crest, none of that removes or changes our history, it merely adds to it. I never endorsed nor did I say or even suggest that I would support a change of colours. I was simply pointing out that even that heinous crime wouldnt destroy and erase the club or its history, it simply adds to it. I don't understand why people using history as a battle standard don't understand the very basic concepts like this. If that's not clear enough, get a responsible adult to help you.
The shirt most people are thinking of was the Amber Admiral one with red pin stripes from about 82-84. Riding Bitter was more 88-89 wasn't it ?
Actually the Riding ones had a lot more red in it, jut not pinstripes. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Can someone let me know if there's an option of muting this ****? Sick of having to scan past his posts. Thanks in advance.
