please log in to view this image OUT-of favour striker Yannick Sagbo is on the hunt for a new club in January after falling well down the pecking order at Hull City. Sagboâs campaign has gone from bad to worse since seeing an ill-fated loan spell at Wolves cut short midway through last month. The 26-year-old, who is yet to play a single minute in the Premier League this season, has not even been included in a match-day squad after arriving back at the KC Stadium on November 14. In fact, his only competitive action in a City shirt since then came in a 1-0 defeat for the clubâs under-21s side at Middlesbrough on November 24. His turnaround in fortunes is in stark contrast to last season, when he made 34 appearances in all competitions, 12 as a sub, scoring four goals. But with Sone Aluko, Nikica Jelavic, record £10m signing Abel Hernandez and the on-loan Gaston Ramirez all ahead of him in the pecking order, his days at the Tigers are looking numbered. City would like to recoup as much as possible of the £1.6m fee they paid for the Ivorian international when signing him on a two-year deal from Evian in July 2013. However, much will depend on the desire of the player himself as he enters the final six months of his contract and a possible Bosman free transfer in summer. A return to play in France is his most likely destination. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...tory-25731884-detail/story.html#ixzz3MEsnQWd6
I just checked - he's been on the bench three times in the five matches since returning. HDM becomes HDF yet again.
Unless someone else is lined up to replace him I fear this is a mistake. He's no superstar but I always thought he could do a job for us in the right circumstances.
Apart from that glorious pass to Koren in the Fulham game I always thought Prozzy was a better player than Sagbo
Daft. Not prolific but far more hard working and useful than aluko and ramirez. To me he's not done anything bad at all. It just seems to come down to name and price tag. Sagbo would work his socks off all game and maybe get a goal whereas £10 million Hernandez hardly puts a shift.
Said it many times but Deeney is the one. If we go down we've got the top scorer in the division more or less. Jelly n Hernandez would go. Him and Jelavic up front'd be the bruise brothers. Battle from the front.
We wont be if we get money for the outgoings. Difficult to impossible for a foreign signing to get up to speed quickly. A Man U 19 year old isnt what we need either. I cant see who we could loan that would do the job needed.
i feel sagbo should be getting a chance especially with our worst top flight campaign in our history thus far
