    Is it safe to add him to my fantasy football team this weekend? ...or is he still injured ? haven't read any news about him for a while :undecided:

    He was in hospital today, but don't stress he was visiting the children spreading the Xmas cheer! <ok>

    Actually mate I'd love to see that, what are we scared of? A skunks side that's conceded 8 in its last two games? Giach & whicks on the same pitch have an intangible groove about em that we've sorely missed...

    Don't get me wrong, I would like to see him play, but I would think Poyet would hesitate to pick him as he still probably isn't up to match fitness! He hasn't exactly rushed injured players back in the past, so I'd be surprised if he plays any part on Sunday! But if he is picked, and he is somewhere near match fitness, I'd be over the moon!!!

    I wouldn't add him (though I think he's in my team, not checked once this season) He'll be playing a bit part role for a while yet.

    He could come on for the last 20 to 30 minutes and get a couple of assists

    Aye good point, he does have a habit of making an impact off the bench. I'd wait till he first makes his first bench selection though. Hoping he's on the bench for the mags game, even if he doesn't get on.

    Here's hoping. If he's fit enough I think he'll replace Buckley, who I hope will mature into a decent player but needs time to grow into this league.
