Now that he's turned down £70k a week how much do you think we need to offer him? In the crazy world of football I think we need to offer him 100k to keep him.
He is without a doubt a talented player and combined with his age he is a very valuable asset, we need to either pay him what he is worth or if he wont sign sell him for silly money.
He'll sign for the right money, 70k considering his importance is a bit of an insult, sadly.. you'd think 70k any 20 year old would jump at but his agent sure f**ing knows they can get more. Sterling should be on twice what badon is getting
lol Borini is on 60k, so I think it's fair to say that Sterling (our most important player) should be on 100+
Would be far too early for Sterling to leave his parent club, he should stay at Pool for a couple more seasons imo. Though eventually I think you will have to sell him if you don't improve. See if you can get Real Madrid to pull out their wallets when the time comes, they like to spend ridiculous sums on young players from Premier League clubs.
He left his parent club five years ago come this February PS...we'd waste whatever money we'd get anyway
In case anyone's missed it the average wage these days is 43k so sooty but 70k to a 20 year old England international prob ain't going to cut it is it!
His agent is none too subtely suggesting that £70k is a mile off his 'market rate', so he's seemingly tested the market in order to find out...........
