<peacedove> I understand a high power of enquiry is to be set up to look at Brendan
    Rodgers signing in the summer.
The probe is going to look at how the sum of £M75 was wasted on makeshift players.
    Heads are going to roll.

Is this linked to the James Pearce interview he did?

Was pretty damning stuff and was like a puff piece for Rodgers, shifting blame onto the committee.

A lot of a*se covering going on at the club.

Which summer buy is getting probed?

I reckon Mario would love a couple of digits up his arse. It might make him move faster than 3mph

  7. It'd be a vast improvement if he just increased to that speed tbf :bandit:

How hasn't this thread got more replies?

    Could be quiet important.

I wonder what this means for Rodgers come the conclusion.

Nothing major will happen. We'll review our policy and recruit another member to join the committee then spend even longer deliberating which targets to move for and which to leave when the summer arrives before Ayre either overspends on them or misses out.

Smells like a sacking to me(if these noises are being made) the one thing I actually blame him for is the transfers in the summer, I can live with bad results, but bad players, that means you gotta watch s**t and lose to boot.

Badon Lallana and Lovren. Thats a lot of shekels for.. not much

Yeah it says to me like they're gathering evidence should they come to sack him - or to make the decision whether to sack him or not.

Rodgers will not like this news one bit.

Maybe it will motivate him to sort this **** out!

So Markovic starts a game and looks solid. Sakho proved how good a defender he is after his first 45 mins of action in a long time, and how much better he is than Lovren and Skrtel.

Stick Moreno and Manquillo in the full back positions, and give Can more game time and people will realise that the committee might know what they're doing.

I think Can should play more than Gerrard, we need a box to box midfielder more than we need hollywood balls.

Gerrard shouldn't be playing full stop.

Can needs minutes to get sharp - he looked really slow and cumbersome today.

If true then it just shows how stubborn Rodgers is being by not playing them!

We have some very talented players at this club. We should not be in the position we're in - if these players were actually used and used correctly, we'd still be a good side.

But when you have a manager who persists with the likes of Skrtel, Johnson, Lovren, Lucas (who has been ok), Gerrard and even Enrique from time to time, then it spells desperation. Combined with the fact his insistence of using Lambert.

Said it before the game, he's just had a culture shock coming to the PL. The work rate is obviously more than he's used to, otherwise he'd already be much fitter. Maybe he is not getting a startinig place because he's showing this lack of fitness during training sessions.

He can play well through the centre, looks strong, if he had the legs of Henderson he'd do much better. Cout also had this surprise, it took him quite a while to get up to the level of fitness to play 75 mins let alone 90.

    I've said it a 1000 times

    Mig
    Flanno/Manquillo Toure Sakho Moreno/Enrique
    Lucas
    Can Henderson
    Coutinho Stelring Markovic

Young, pacey, hungry players with points to prove. Stick Sterling wide when Sturridge is back

Forgot about Lallana who has been very good recently as well.. him coutinho and markovic can rotate.
