Makes you laugh, I'd like to know if martinez is over achieving or is he a #fraudster with the BS being on the same points in the league as us With the way this tramp keeps lording it about you'd think Everton were running away with the league. Or is it the White Lightning talking
Well done on all finding your anti Blue bollocks after an #epic away win at Bournemouth reserves Predictable tits
Pretty positive performance - defence was shocking as per usual but there is a lot more pace and fluidity about our attack. Amazing what happens when you put Sterling up there instead of Lambert. I think Rodgers has had his fun now and needs to put Migs back in. Jones is a joke. The defence is a disaster - we have 2 clowns starting in Skrtel and Lovren. Lovren was ripped all first half - at first I thought it was down to the lack of protection from Markovic but it wasn't. It was down to his awful positioning. Rightfully hooked at half time and thank God Sakho is back. For a lad who hasn't played in a while, he was a beast. Pretty much won everything, proactive and made that great tackle in the box. Most importantly, his passing - it's direct, it's to the midfield and it bypasses lines. It's attacking. None of that safe, slow passing between one another that Skrtel and Lovren do all game. Sakho passes with intent and starts attacks. Henderson is wasted as RWB - he's so poor there. Rodgers needs to play Manquillo there who actually has pace and can defend properly. Henderson offers little in attack so we won't be losing much. I think Markovic is wasted as LWB but he did a brilliant job, and it's amazing what a couple of good cameo performances does for this confidence. This lad will be special. What really impressed me was his defending - tracked runners and covered space, left by our awful central midfield. 1 goal and 1 assist - hopefully we starts from now on. Central midfield was shocking as per usual - Lucas and Gerrard. What more can I say? These two are cannot control a game and need to be replaced. Was disappointed with Can because he looks so unfit and rusty - looked so much better against Chelsea. Was impressed with Coutinho, Lallana and Sterling - Coutinho should be doing better with his decision making.
For a guy who has not played since Spurs I believe, he was immense. Bournemouth were ripping Lovren down that left hand side all game. I dont think they beat Sakho once.
He'll keep giving him chances because Lovren was his own signing, and it was a big signing at £20m. His ego won't allow him to look a fool for this failure of a defender.
True. You could also look at it that he's trying to play him into some kind of form so his value goes up in order to sell him say in the summer/ January. Lovren was good last year so it must be somewhere? He's hugely underperforming.
All set up in front of the telly tonight with his popcorn and internet at the ready.... Had to laugh on Monday night reading the Mail online. "Everton beat lacklustre Palace to go above Liverpool", said the headlines. Is it the media, the fans or both that solely define Everton in relation to Liverpool? It's as if you can't talk about Phobos without mentioning Mars, but you don't have to rattle on about Phobos every time Mars is discussed. Come to think of it, that's not a bad comparison at all.
It's a myth mate - he wasn't good. He had a decent few months when Soton had Schneiderlin and Wanyama in front of him. Wanyama got injured and Soton struggled, and Lovren made so many mistakes. Then you have people like Carra bigging him based on a few good months and everyone believes the hype. Lovren has been poor throughout his career and there is a reason why the committee rejected him the first time round at less than half the price. It's similar to how Gerrard looked amazing last year when in reality, all he did was take penos and free kicks, and the world class attack masked the deficiencies of the rest of the team.
