Well we needed a win by any means and got it. I'm pleased. Obvious problem at the back badly needs dealing with but we played a lot better going forward. Mark looks like he could kick on from here. Does Rodgers have the balls to play him against Arsenal?
Tony Pulis: "Liverpool played well, but they really needed the result. This will take a lot of pressure off a lot of people in and around this football club."
Now lets hope Rodgers does not make the same mistake he has made repeatedly this season and allows the players today the chance to keep their place and build on that win instead of reverting to the usual rubbish. I'm mainly talking about Markovic. We need some proper full backs back in though. I have my doubts that he will avoid making that mistake.
Tom Rostance is the most #bitter prick at #bbcsalford, apart from Phil McCunty of course "Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling trots out the usual 'it's nice to score but the important thing is that the team got the win' line."
Worldie...... Like I said.... I have to say the sad puss that uir is sporting is quite entertaining. God loves a trier and all that.... Anyway..... Distinctly average but enough on the night. A bit of a showing from markovic, sterling has improved his showing, I see that he's been coached by someone to show where he wants it... He'll one of these days if he keeps that up someone will even pass it to him! Well other than coutinho eh? Still 14 days of this to go....
He managed to stand watching impending disaster on the left for 90 mins so who the f knows Markovic needs a run higher up
lol deary me! Fyi they mentioned he again made a couple of amateur errors and instead of facing his problems - blamed those around him
