lots of managers are failures, and yet they all seem to be given the next job. football is a crazy world. the media talk about too many sackings, but the real problem is that even if you fail, you're given multiple second chances. no other career does that.
This is really bad in England in particular. The so called managerial roundabout means that young managers rarely get a chance.
There is probably a very limited list of people wanting to take on such a job - that would be qualified anyway. I think also people realise that failing as a manager can be outside the influence of the person in the role. Mancini is a poor manager, but the money thrown at him made him succeed. Martin O'Neil is a good manager (imo) but never had the resources to succeed (except at Celtic, but who wouldn't).
I can't find the injury or match thread for Liverpool... but the latest news from the camp is good. Ox should be fit for the game on Sunday and Walcott could make a return on the bench.
Mate give me time. But yeah news is that Theo will be on the bench and Oxo is fit. Good as the latter has been in superb form.
Was hoping the Liverpool game would go into extra time ahead of our trip to Anfield, but Liverpool winning with ease at the moment.
Whatever happens on Sunday, I just hope Liverpool play Toure at the back. The bloke is an Arsenal legend, but he is past it now and he will get skinned alive by Sanchez and Welbeck.
You would not be able to live with the f**ers if they won the League cup, it would be the return of the juggernaut all over again Bournemouth just hit the post
Soldildo has just made it 4-0 to the spuds. Both the scorer and the scoreline tell you just how **** Toon have become again.
Newcastle are not interested in trophies, or European football. Premiership survival is all they want, feel for their fan
