What does it say for a youngster that chooses to go to a club they know they may well never play for Players in Real madrid's academy must really be shaking their heads
Not really. We have a history of poor results in the league cup where a number of youngsters have cut their teeth. Some have gone on to make careers here and others have done well at other clubs. A fair few of those who faced mk dons will likely rack up impressive appearance figures for United. Builds character. You wouldn't know too much about it though
When your own manager says he wants to abolish the club's academy, it's safe to say he couldn't give a flying fck about developing youth. No surprise at all from Jose. Spoken like a true cheque book manager.
Disgusting. Does anyone have anything positive to say about that club? Chelsea fans, do you have anything positive to say? Nothing for the local community Nothint for the sport Nothing for entertainment Nothing at all. A joke of a club. It's of no real surprise so many people from there are united or liverpool fans. Nonsurprise at all.
Don't know where you've got that snippet from but it's been taken out of context. He was having a pop at the club in that interview. Just stop it. You've sounded like a terribly man of late.
Bitter about what? Your lack of anything good involving football? Not at all drogs. Feel free to use this as an opportunity to list some positives about Chelsea. Otherwise shut up and accept the truth
I never underestimate Jose, he's a very clever man and is very deliberate/careful about what he says. Whatever the context, he was sowing the seeds I'm sure. Do you seriously think he is at all interested in what your academy will produce in years to come? That's really not why he's at Chelsea.
I don't get why you posted what you did then? I'm also not sure why Manchester United fans would care whether Chelsea produce their own players or not, it should be us who are bothered. In 10 or so years he's been at 4 different clubs. He hasn't had or wanted the chance to produce young players because he's wanted to win as many trophies as possible at different clubs. Personally I think he'll be here for a while now, whether or not he uses that time to produce a star from our academy I don't know, certainly hope so.
Why not? I'm not bothered but does that mean we don't talk about other clubs or managers. I have a great deal of respect for Mourinho, he is an absolute top drawer manager. A winner. He knows pretty much everything you need a manager to know about football. Tactically sound and kahonas the size of brass cannons. But one thing is patently obvious, he isn't interested in academies or youth players. I'd go one step further and say he'll happily buy other team's emerging talents just to sit them on the bench.
